These THC shops are an absolute blight and should be shut down. It's trash that has no place in civil society.

Not only is THC linked to schizophrenia, it causes gynomastia and decreased testosterone production.

Doped up, large breasted "males" should not be welcome in the Republican Party.

Oh yes the positive benefits of alcohol and cigarettes are endless

What until this dude hears what alcohol, tobacco, processed food, red 40, etc. are linked to.

Depends on the issue. They sure aren't freedom loving when it comes to taxes or rights of private businesses.

They also HATE what a person does with their own body even though it has ZERO impact on their lives.

They LOVE to tell people what to do and they demand Daddy Government ensures that people live the way THEY want them to.

I moved to very remote Wyoming on the side of a mountain not just because I love nature, but I genuinely could not stand people any longer. Left, right, didn't matter. I got sick and ****ing tired of people telling me and others how to live their lives.

Not really. Those conditions aren't part of the current program.

What is dirty is the Senate said they supported the expansion which is why the house passed the ban.

Yep. Danny back stabbed them. If I was the House I'd threaten to publicly air that and lobby for veto of SB3 if the senate doesn't follow through on compassionate usage expansion. Based on Danny's justifications for SB3 there's zero reason to oppose the bill that the house passed. While I still wouldn't be thrilled with SB3, I could accept expansion of medical access as a compromise.

I think it's dead at this point, but we'll see. Patrick is up for re-election next year. Hope he gets a strong primary challenger.

The Senate substitute for HB46 that was distributed yesterday still doesn't have expansions for pain management. They're also limiting the size of dose for whatever reason. This is just going to make the prices go up even more.

The reefer madness people either cannot grasp this, or are sticking their heads in the dirt. I told a guy either on this thread or the other THC one that potheads are going to pothead regardless.

And your point is excellent. I doubt any of the shops these whiners complain about close down, at least not at first. They'll still to try and sell CBD oils and other holistic remedies.

So good job morons. The shops you hate remain, and all you got in return is a bunch of desperate Texans that are about to have to have a face to face chat with their mental illness and or pain demons, to name a few. Not to mention some people, like me, who are so angry about this they'll support not only a primary challenger, but a third party candidate or abstain. Which may result in loony democrats elected.

Reap what you sow, morons. Making life worse for all of us. ****ing Dan Patrick. Piece of **** moron. Corrupt POS.

This is one area where I hope Abbott puts his presidential ambitions above kowtowing to the less tolerant subset of the Republican party. The Republican party has come a long way with allowing people to manage their own lives, not saying they're perfect or we can't find certain areas where the party as a whole is less tolerant, but for once we finally have the Republicans outflanking the Democrats when it comes to free speech and tolerance towards people with other views.

Signing this into law would go 100% against that and reflect the old status quo party many of us have rejected.

Just popped by my local eyesore THC store. I had to step over the bodies of strung out homeless people and dodge hungry potheads but somehow made it in.

Nice establishment. Looks way more inviting than the nail spa next door, or the urgent care on the other side to treat illegals and their sniffles.

You know what is even more of a blight? Empty buildings boarded up not employing people, not contributing to the tax base, etc.

Also, don't ever think that society is civil. It never has been, never will be as long as humans are what constitute society.
