Saw some tweets about trying to move D Blair today. I think he needs to go, but don't really know what they would get for him. Maybe money or a conditional 2nd round pick based on performance.

Spurs are incredible. The seeming ease with which they consistently build teams that can win with backups playing 30 minutes makes the rest of the league look silly.
What a great win. Awesome game by Leonard. De Colo, Tiago and Diaw also played well.
Was also good to see Gary get some shots to go down. Hopefully this game gets him out of that horrible funk he was in. If he's going to continue to get minutes then he's gotta be hitting shots.
I agree with resting Manu and TD next game and let them have the all star break to get ready for the 2nd half push. If Tony is fine then he can play @WAS. Washington has been playing well so that isn't an easy win by any means.

Constantly blown away by this team. I admit I'm totally a fair weather basketball fan and the weather has been very fair indeed in SA for 10+ years now.
I can only hope the Spurs can get hot for the playoffs and catch a few breaks along the way (like not playing an OKC team that catches fire only to flame out for the finals)... would truly be icing on the cake for this Dynasty if they could win one more. If not, still one of the best Dynasties of all time.

None of these trade rumors being thrown around really make sense for the Spurs tbh. Although, I think it's safe to say they are testing the water to see what they can get for Jacks huge expiring though.

Woohoo! I'd still like to see them run some plays for Kawhi. I feel like that extra demension would be huge for us. Probably won't really happen until next year though.
Kawhi got a fair number of iso plays with the big 3 out. He's a pretty tough cover on the wing with that pull-up jumper, but I agree that he probably won't be a consistent option until next year.
Tony Parker as the Night Crawler
Kawhi should definitely get some more opportunities this year. Obviously touches are pretty hard to come by on our roster but they should make a conscious effort to try and let Kawhi create some offense when Tony is on the bench. Whenver he's out there with guys like Neal and Green the Spurs should try to do a better job of letting Kawhi run some ISO formations instead of Neal going in full chucker mode.
Letting Kawhi get more involved in the offense and running some sets also makes his defender expend some more energy. Instead of guys like Durant just sitting in the corner while Kawhi is on offense and then saving all his energy for when he has the ball.
You're right, I'd much rather see Kawhi operating one-on-one or in a two-man game with Diaw than have Neal launching prayers. Just not sure we'll see it this year... the next 5-10 games should let us know, since that is when the Spurs tighten up the lineups and gameplans in preparation for the playoffs. I don't see "Neal dribbles around and takes an 18 foot up and under" as a viable offensive strategy while TP is off the court in the playoffs.
The "Gary Neal the PG" experiment should be OVER completely. There is no reason that he should be on the floor running the point from here on out. Ginobili is essentially the PG when he is on the floor and Neal is playing the 2. Even if Manu continues to be in and out of the lineup the Spurs have to go with De Colo at the 1 if Neal is going to be on the floor. He just can't play the point and it's a massive fail every time they put him in that position. Patty Mills isn't any better either. They are both undersized 2's.

Standing flat footed in the paint with the game on the line.
It looks like Waiters was supposed to come over on help defense there, but when he sees the layup is covered he has to either close down the baseline or fade back to Leonard in the corner. Instead he stood there and watched the Spurs win the game.

I know the kid has some game but he is quickly becoming one of the least likable players in the league. A combo of his game, attitude and the way he looks.

Anyone think that Jack's personal reasons for missing games is that we've told him that we are looking to deal him? The whole thing just seems really strange to me.
