Stack Jack didn't make the trip to Sactown. He's been gone over a week for personal reasons now. Something's up.

The Jefferson rumor never had substance to it because it would've put San Antonio into a difficult salary-cap position. Pretty much what I figured. I don't think the Spurs should make a major move. I would like to see if they can somehow get Derrick Williams on the cheap but other than that there isn't really anything out there.

Green's defense has improved so much this year.

Green can play defense 1 on 1 pretty well but he still has a problem getting through screens. He also gets sucked into the paint way to often leaving a man open from long distance. He's been solid though. His shooting has been spectacular once again.

Spurs enter the Redick sweepstakes. Orlando really wants a first round pick and the Spurs can provide them with that. This is all according to Mark Stein. You would think that Gary Neal and other considerations would be involved. He's a free agent this offseason, but I would do this trade in a heartbeat if I were the Spurs. Kid is tough.

Even if we don't get JJ right now, it's likely we make a play for him in the summer. He and his wife live in Austin during the offseason. With Jack and Neal's contract coming off it could very well happen. He has Spurs DNA all over him.
That actually sounds kinda bad.
Picking up Redick would do two things for Pop. First, it would give him another player who just pisses people off because of who he is. Second, it would finally let Pop trot out an all-white lineup.
Spurs becoming the new Jazz...Reports are saying that what we are offering for him will come up short. Looks like we will wait for the offseason.

Atlanta is interested in Blair, but the only way they take him is if they move Smith first. Doesn't seem likely. 30 mins until the deadline is over.

Kawhi being out definitely hurts tonight but apparently it isn't anything serious and he should be back for tomorrow games. I would probably expect Duncan and Manu to sit out tomorrow at GS. No reason to play those two both games of a b2b from here on out.
