Nando with a nice start.

I believe Pop made the right decision with this move. Without Manu, Nando becomes the 2nd best playmaker on the team with the ball in his hands and he has played well lately. His defense is solid as well.

At least Tony and Kawhi will be relatively fresh. And Duncan didn't play at all in the second half. I liked what I saw from Baynes tonight. Granted it was against the Magic bigs.

It'll be interesting to see how Cory Joseph and Baynes look next season, when they should both be getting real minutes. I like the offensive game Cory Joseph is starting to show, and (with the caveat that it was against Orlando), Baynes is already showing more variety to his offensive game than Tiago has, although obviously Splitter is more effective offensively right now.

Looks like Baynes has the roll to the basket, the baby jumper, and a decent looking hook shot. If he can clean up his picks and add five more feet to that jumper, he'll be pretty much there in terms of what a Spurs C needs on offense.

There were rumors about teams offering some simple packages for CoJo around the trade deadline and the Spurs rejected all the offers. They are obviously pretty high on him and I think if he can definitely be a NBA rotation level player next season. With De Colo as well, the PG position is pretty solid next year.

The winner tonight will most likely be the #1 seed in the playoffs. If the Spurs win they go up 2 games with the tie-breaker meaning OKC would have to make up 3 games to catch the Spurs. Doubtful.

If OKC wins then they virtually tie up the standings and most likely end up with the tie-breaker.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure the Spurs can pull off the upset tonight.

The scary thing is that run OKC had shows that Pop really has to shrink the bigs rotation against them. Blair and Bonner hardly play. Splitter is a lot better but is still somewhat limited. Diaw plays cause I guess he's a good facilitator.

I am glad we've crawled back into the game, but I am hoping for a much better 2nd half.

Anyway, I know most find Pop's treatment of the media amusing. He can be funny at times, but his interviews with Sager are just brutal. Oh, while I am *****ing, De Colo is a scrub.

Man we need to work on those fast breaks. Making horrible decisions on them. That's an easy 4 points we missed there.

De Colo came through with some huge threes in the third.

Big shot by Neal. Spurs need to start quick in the 4th to have a chance. Can't go back down by 12+

The Spurs have to be the worst fast break team in the league. So many wasted fast breaks this year in situations that would have been an automatic 2 for any other team.
