...all with Leonard and Jackson on the bench. The Spurs are better this year than they were last year.
Duncan has managed to elevate his game again. Making it look very easy. Teams have tried to test him on defense and it has NOT worked.
Manu still needs to cut down on the bonehead plays, but you can see him getting better game by game.
Diaw needs to get a little better on his shoot/pass decisions driving the lane. Probably 1/3 of the time he chooses wrong, either throwing up an awkward floater or kicking out when the wide open layup is right there.
Splitter has gotten more assertive finishing around the rim, and has improved on his ability to find the soft spot in the defense.
De Colo is a very, very good backup PG. Great court awareness, fantastic passing ability, and surprisingly good on defense. By season's end he's going to be better than a ton of starting PGs. It will be tough to hang on to him for long.
Danny Green is shooting lights out. Good defense, great shooting, and gets the occasional backdoor cut for a layup to keep the defense honest.
Bonner is playing pretty well on defense, rebounding well, and shooting great. His release has gotten faster and more confident, which may make him more effective in the playoffs since he doesn't need as much space to get a shot off as he used to.
Neal has no conscience. His shot selection has gotten better, but you can still see that he believes he is going to make any fkn shot he tries. And he's usually right.
