Per tweets from Mike Bresnahan and KC Johnson, the Rockets are part of a 3-team S&T with Chicago and the Lakers...wonder if Boozer and his expiring contract are coming south.

Boozer to Houston as part of that s&t would make a lot of sense. Sending Butler or Gibson would make no sense for the Bulls though.

I don't want boozer but it doesn't look like it'll happen. Bledsoe is way better offensively than Bev, and he's a better straight up defender. As I've already said, I've liked Ariza for a long time.

I like Bledsoe a lot. He's a good two way player, something neither Parsons nor Beverley can claim. But Phoenix might not want to lose him either. I wouldn't drop Parsons for Ariza without knowing if I could get Bledsoe or not.

4 years for 32 mil is a pretty good deal for the Rockets. That is about as cheap as anyone was going to get him.

Sounds like Parsons is heading towards the Mavs.

Not horrible...on a per year basis, that's about what he was expected to get. Almost half what Parsons will cost per year.

So he can sign with a longer deal? I don't know how the contacts work but if he's a cavalier and then opts out he can a 5 year deal right? Right now he could only sign for 4?

Cavs can give him a 5 year deal with 7.5% increases next year, but only a 4 year deal with 4.5% increases this year.
