I think option C is far more likely: it remains unexplained and for the most part everyone goes on with their lives.

These craft exist. End of story. And the more we learn, it's getting to be increasingly weird (and telling) how much certain people are in denial of this reality. Countless, credible military pilots and government personal have confirmed this reality. The Pentagon has *officially* confirmed this reality. To the point where we're so far beyond swamp gas or misidentified birds or Venus-mistaken-for-a-UFO. These craft exist, and they're in our skies. So they're either man made or they're not. To suggest anything else is to admit to a reality in which so many credible pilots and personnel and reports and tracking systems and the Pentagon itself would *all* have to be hallucinating/malfunctioning/lying on such a profound, ridiculously coordinated, and disturbing level that that story in and of itself would be one of the most sensational in decades, and a massive cause for concern in its own right.

Also, "remains unexplained" doesn't necessarily negate option A or B. Can a number of these reports be explained by conventional, terrestrial occurrences? Absolutely. But way, way too many of them are simply and undeniably real craft that are displaying "beyond next generation" tech. Which means it's either "unexplained" human tech or it's "unexplained" non-human tech.

By saying "option C" he's saying they're not man-made nor are they made by extraterrestrials. Which only leaves the same, tired, baffling, everyone-and-their-dog is hallucinating or misidentifying or lying narrative, which we know can't possible by true at this point. There's really no other way to interpret that response.

I don't think you read that right at all. Read the whole post - he's saying no one is going to conclusively say who/what these things are and we'll all go on about our lives without anything changing too much.

Okay, sure, but no one was really expecting this report to confirm much of anything in the first place. And his response to the tweet I posted seems to misunderstand what *that* guy is saying to begin with.

These craft exist.
You're calling them crafts. You already accept and believe that they are physical things. And of course you'd say, "but obviously instruments and radar and other technology and EYE WITNESSES all detect these "craft".

That right there discounts you from being impartial. The fact that you can't imagine anything else other than "crafts" keeps you from truly being open minded to many, many other things...

They're *something* observable by the human eye while ALSO being trackable by radar, satellite, heat, etc. Whether they're crafts or holograms or space ghosts or whatever, they're part of a phenomenon that is real. Whatever they are, they exist, in some form or fashion, and can't all be explained away by the same old go-to debunker talking points. That's all I'm saying.

I'm not necessarily talking about angels or demons. What about a higher dimension watching us. Or not even higher dimension, maybe just Watchers. Perhaps from the Simulation that created our Simulation.

I've said multiple times in this thread that I'm open to that exact theory. In fact, I find it *more* likely they're from some other plane of existence than from another far-off part of the universe. Or maybe it's a combination of both. Either way, I don't even know what we're arguing about at this point. I'm with you on this.
aggiebird02

But it could be demons or angels, yeah?
TCTTS

Ha, sure!

While I don't necessarily believe in either, I won't rule out that theory by any means.

Not really. That guy was talking about life changing as we know it. I just don't see it happening. There won't be some big reveal. And the other poster's right. I'm not discounting A and B, but I am doubting the life changing as we know it part because nothing will be definitive. Hey man, I got my Fox Mulder poster up too. I want to believe. But life just ain't that exciting.

I still vote they're government stuff.

Whether they're lying about it or actually don't know and it's a small group of people handling top secret stuff I don't know.

As someone posted earlier, the SR-71's first flight was in 1964. Crazy how advanced that was for the 60's. Imagine what they've got by now. They've got all kinds of tech that we have no idea about.

This all fascinates me so much. I've been into this since that pilot went on Rogan a year or two ago and explained what he saw and everything he'd heard from other aviators.

I believe these things are real (not sure how to NOT conclude that at this point) and I don't believe any nation has that kind of technology, which to me means it HAS to be something created and used by some other intelligent lifeform somewhere else. I know that sounds kind of bonkers, but it really isn't. It seemed bonkers to uncontacted tribes in the Amazon when metal birds flew over them and took their pictures, doesn't mean it wasn't plausible once they recognized that they share existence with others far beyond their level of technological/scientific ability.

So, if I'm right and these things are from somewhere else, what, I wonder, are they doing? Is this basically an anthropological study? I don't doubt that these things could remain much more covert, so are they starting to put themselves out there to test/record how we react to them?

NYT
Many of the more than 120 incidents examined in the report are from Navy personnel, officials said.

ME
Are airline pilots reporting the same phenomenon? If not, why not?

NYT
The report also examined incidents involving foreign militaries over the last two decades. Intelligence officials believe at least some of the aerial phenomena could have been experimental technology from a rival power, most likely Russia or China.

ME
Pentagon will request vast new budget allocations to counter the menace posted by Russia / China. Shocker.

Not from the world of aviation but I would say that a few distinctions are important. Lots of civilian pilots have seen weird things for sure, but a) military pilots have a much better view and b) much more sophisticated means to track and record it and c) fly in groups giving them more sets of eyes and censors to verify what they think they are seeing.

If made by a race of hyper-intelligent donkeys, they would be neither man-made nor made by extra-terrestrials.

Skinwalker Ranch is amazing. They're sitting around a campfire with some new age "rabbi" chanting shalome, then use their high tech monitors to show how "the energy" in the area has changed.

I'm convinced the big conspiracy being covered up is Robert Bigelow's long-game plot to build tourist motels in the middle of the desert. And also in space, of course.

Let me take one wild guess as to what that ONE plausible possibility is...

A duh... ALIENS!!

So damn dumb...

Edit: Of course our government wouldn't lie to us and cover anything up... totally transparent... after 75 years of lies... I TOTALLY BELIVE THEM!

Random thought; has there been any report from the people actually watching space? I mean, if an alien race was sending crafts here surly there would be a satellite photo or something?

And what about these objects that defy the laws of physics? We keep hearing about them, but every video we see is pretty easily explained by poor visibility or novice understanding of how to read the video. Where is the actual video of these objects breaking our known laws of physics?

Has any actual credible physicists, mathematician, or scientists talked about this? Seems those would the people to listen to.

Possibilities:
1. The Navy is lying, it's ours
2. The Navy is wrong, and it's ours unknown to the navy (aka black ops or CIA, etc)
3. The Navy is wrong and it's private development
4. It's from another country
5. It's all hallucination / camera tricks / natural phenomena
6. It's a previously undiscovered intelligent species on earth / in the oceans
7. It's Aliens
8. It's demons
9. It's humans from the future who have mastered time travel
10. It's humans from an alternative universe who have mastered quantum physics and inter-multiverse travel
11. It's our seed race / creators / "engineers" coming to check our progress as a species

If there is a government I believe less than ours it's the Chinese. That tweet says the only plausible explanation is (I assume) aliens. Not really, it's very plausible the DoD (or China or whoever) is 100% lying.

The question above about why none of the space watching groups haven't caught these things is a really good one. It implies that these things are from Earth.

I keep coming back to "why?" Why is our government suddenly willing to release this report? I think someone mentioned Trump ordered it? Didn't Trump have a goal to weaken the Chinese in any way he could? Telling the world "noooo, we don't have anything like this at all!" is a potential way to confuse them, make them worry, or something. Although, I doubt they believe us, either.
