Before I knew any better he came across as genuine and then I noticed he was peddling his CT5 junk at the end of all his videos and I got a dirty car salesman vibe from him.
So basically the supposed origin story is Greer stole the alien’s IP, patented it, packaged it, and sold it as his own? https://t.co/cEjYb1mX1p
Looks entertaining, but It looks like they're using a combination of real footage and intentionally CGI'd scenes (I'm assuming to approximate what the eyewitness is saying happened). I think that's dangerous and will confuse people
Even the History channel uses a very visible "Recreation" disclaimer. I'm sure Showtime will also distinguish what's authentic and what's not, and if they don't, they deserve to be called out - after we've seen an episode. Either way, "dangerous" seems a bit extreme.

Well, if their goal is to be as credible as the History Channel documentaries, then they'll be in good shape.
My exact point. Even the most outlandish of these types of shows use disclaimers, so there's no reason to suspect that Showtime/Abrams won't. I'm just saying, let's not jump to conclusions based off a single trailer.
I'm guessing the latter. Same old stuff in a slicker package. But at four hours, likely more extensive and in-depth, at least, than many of the other relatively recent shows/documentaries.
My favorite researcher and historian on this reality has a good series coming on board.
For those who either haven't or are afraid to connect the dots...you will. You'll be fine.

That promo was good. But if he had started it by playing Power by Kanye West, it would've been even better
Must be put out to pasture...

So at the end of the day we're left with a government report where they have no incentive to tell the truth and human reports of "physics defying" craft. Hard evidence tbd.
It's hilarious that this board skewered the Qanons (rightfully so) but some how space time bending aliens is totally legit.
Give me a break. Qanon was steeped in provable falsehoods perpetuated by some of the worse this country has to offer, who have since admitted to making it all up. Taking the word of some of the best and brightest pilots/military personnel in the country, who each took an oath to protect our freedoms and whom the government trusts with millions of dollars worth of equipment and technology, isn't even remotely in the same ballpark as falling for the sh*tshow that was Qanon.
Man, thats a pretty low bar, the government entrusting someone with millions of dollars of equipment. I know some abject morons who have been entrusted with millions to billions worth of government equipment.

Sorry things aren't moving and being released according to your own needs and desires. I'm sure they give two-sh*ts what skeptics on a random message board think. In the meantime, continue ignoring the many the other compelling components while needlessly mocking away...

Not trying to mock you. And I'm not ignoring it. Like I said, it's great entertainment. I enjoy your entertaining posts on here.

How seriously some take this entertainment stuff is, well, entertaining! This thread, case in point!
John Lear is a pretty impressive talker. I like his interviews
Is he legit or . ?
Just another data point of an abundance of practical, sensible collection set. Friend of Bob Larzar. Son of the Lear Jet pioneer. He knows.

Also, this doc, which is getting great reviews and originally aired in Australia in May, from 60 Minutes Australia investigative journalist Ross Coulthart, is finally making its way stateside and will be available on YouTube at this embed/link tonight...
Many of us are not dependent on our gov to let us know. Do a little reseach...the dots are not that hard to connect.

Here's the original trailer...
Finished this one last night and it's totally worth the watch. Touched on a bunch of familiar beats, but seeing as it's from Australia, with that also comes some pretty cool/interesting stories I hadn't heard before, all of it with a highly respected journalist guiding the way. Definitely not your typical History Chanel schlock. Comes across as reputable, skeptical where it needs to be, and just an all around great overview.
Reminder that this debuts today on Showtime. All four episodes are on the Showtime Anytime app. Will dig in over the next few nights...
I finished episode one of this tonight, however, and in terms of quality, so far it's easily the best-produced UFO documentary I've ever seen. Just incredible how well-made it is. The look, the graphics, the cinematic quality of the interviews (complete with ever-so-visible JJ lens flares!) - it's just such a weird feeling, after 25 years of watching this stuff, to see the subject treated this seriously and with this kind of production value. That, and I'm pretty sure it's the first ever UFO doc broadcast in 4K.
That's not to take away from the actual content at all, though. No new revelations or anything like that so far (nor am I expecting any), but it's so impressively comprehensive. To the point where it really does feel like, after episode four, this will be *the* end-all, be-all doc to point to as the one that provides the best context on and overview of the subject.
Can't wait to knock out the next three episodes and find out...

I agree with quality aspect, but I was a little dissapointed with direction it went (the later episodes). They do play some devils advocate, which I liked in the sense that it gave it a well balanced feel, but at the end of the series, I wasn't really sure what they were going for. Kind of felt like it ended up just being a documentary on the phenomenon without going too deep in any direction.
