This is the conclusion from a really long article posted on the Military board about incidents and how they are reported
Quote:

While some cases remain genuinely odd, to date the vast majority are readily explainable within existing conventional technology. Tyler Rogoway recently argued in a War Zone editorial that the Pentagon may be overlooking the possibility that foreign competitors play a role in at least some of these incidents. Advances in relatively simple unmanned technologies make it increasingly possible for foreign military forces and intelligence services to deploy electronic intelligence gathering platforms in a very low-risk, high reward manner that could explain many sightings. There is a well-established historical precedent for this, as well. As reported above, there is ample evidence of repeated occurrences of sightings in or near military training ranges that would be very high-value targets for electronic reconnaissance.

Whatever the ultimate identities of these aircraft turn out to be, it is clear that they represent an ongoing national security concern. These are not isolated incidents but routine occurrences and we know the majority of which go unreported. Despite the number of them, it remains difficult to publicly document the response of government stakeholders, raising significant concerns that the issue is not being adequately addressed even after so much public attention and so many promises from the Pentagon.

On their website Tic Tac references the US space program when describing their history:
https://www.tictac.com/us/en/history/

Tic Tac was created by the Ferrero company, which has been around for over 70 years. These tic tac like objects have been observed for over 70 years:

Clearly this is all a long running, highly advanced marketing campaign to sell breath mints.

Possibilities:
1. The Navy is lying, it's ours
2. The Navy is wrong, and it's ours unknown to the navy (aka black ops or CIA, etc)
3. The Navy is wrong and it's private development
4. It's from another country
5. It's all hallucination / camera tricks / natural phenomena
6. It's a previously undiscovered intelligent species on earth / in the oceans
7. It's Aliens
8. It's demons
9. It's humans from the future who have mastered time travel
10. It's humans from an alternative universe who have mastered quantum physics and inter-multiverse travel
11. It's our seed race / creators / "engineers" coming to check our progress as a species
Thank you SpreadsheetAg!

I am putting money on #6. Life in the oceans started millions of years before us. It would take only a thousand years or less of higher development to create the flying technology.

For 8- They could be friendly demons/ supernatural beings, which I assume you know but other readers may not. The Supernatural TV show had 15 years to flush out all of the varieties.

based on one of the replies to that tweet, I'm researching a super rare atmospheric phenomenon called ball lightning.

Was my first thought with that video. It really isn't captured on video very often and no one knows for sure how it works. But it looks like there is lightning in the area and the ball appears and disappears quickly.

Here's a comment from a potential ball lightning video shown on a Sacramento news station:

It's a cool video, but yeah, definitely thinking lightning in this case.

Just getting back to this thread. Got weird.

So, I assume the report is not out yet?

I think #10 from above is as likely as anything. Hell, we are fairly close to our first quantum computers in our dimension from what I understand.

Rumor is the report drops on June 25th. Last week's NYT article sourced what sounds like a congressman, along with others, who were already briefed on the contents of the report.

Can we all agree that Luis Elizondo desperately needs an image consultant?

Serious guy. Nice credentials. Looks like he should be the tour manager for Florida Georgia Line. Or that he's Guy Fieri's older brother who was a Marine and who always thought his Guy should "apply himself" more.

I always think retired "90's rock bassist" when I see him these days. Wonder if he and Tommy Delong ever get together and just jam.

Elizondo is ex-military (served in the Army for 20 years), lives on a ranch, and is a pretty big gearhead, so I give him a pass for his look, which seems to fit his overall background/personality, and is at least somewhat memorable.

The banker's collar sans tie is inexcusable. That's a look reserved for billionaire european playboys, and only because they are so rich people won't tell them how ridiculous they look.

And if he can't get the collar of his shirt under control with some stays and under the lapels of his coat before a national interview, how am I supposed to believe he has his **** together when it comes to UFOs??

This isn't technically "entertainment," but it *is* on TV. That, and I'd love to avoid the thread on F16 currently devoted to the broader subject matter (nothing to do with politics, just the super-weird and off-putting nature of the back and forth in that particular thread), so I figured I'd throw this up here for a (hopefully) more level-headed discussion.

That said, I'm sure plenty will think I'm "super-weird and off-putting" when it comes to this particular subject matter (or just in general), but I'm going to nerd the hell out over this, and I don't care who knows it. Because it really does feel like we're in the midst of at least *some* level of disclosure, even though, technically, the Pentagon already officially acknowledged last year that there is absolutely something so far beyond our own tech interacting with our pilots more and more frequently, tech that the Pentagon admittedly believes is NOT from Russia or China or any other country. Combine that acknowledgement with the eye-witness testimonies from literally our best and most trusted military pilots, with all the other tracking data confirming said accounts, time and time again, and this subject matter is quickly moving from X-Files territory to an undeniable reality.

Anyway, the second scheduled segment of this Sunday's 60 Minutes is causing all kinds of buzz, and I absolutely cannot wait...

"UAP"

After years of documented sightings by U.S. service members, unidentified aerial phenomena or UAP - commonly known as UFOs - are being formally addressed by the U.S. government in an intelligence and defense report next month.

I really want to believe these things are aliens from another solar system. How cool would it be to learn that 1) we're not alone and 2) technology actually exists that makes interstellar travel possible. If true, then maybe one day they'll quit playing "peek-a-boo" with us and engage us and teach us this technology.

However

I also really want to see a high def picture or video of one of these before I go there. If they've been regularly violating restricted US airspace, and that pilot said it was happening daily for years, then surely the Air Force and Navy started outfitting jets and drones with high def cameras and sent some on patrols to get a clear picture. I think getting a good picture of one of these things would be important to the military.

So if they have these grainy videos and gun sight videos, then they must also have a high def picture or video as well. Why won't they release it? Frustrating.
