Part of me feels like this is some sort of psy-op. It's weird to me that the Pentagon would just come out and confirm authenticity of unclassified information that is seemingly leaked so quickly.

You're assuming A) they're actually from billions of light years away (as opposed to some kind of quantum reality or dimension, as crazy as that sounds), and B) that if they are from billions light years away, they can't travers those billions of light years in minutes if not seconds. These things are literally blinking in and out of existence. Countless pilots have reported the same thing over and over and over again in that regard. If whoever built these things got even a couple hundred years head start on us, never mind thousands or even millions of years head start, their tech would basically be magic to us, and could do things we can't even dream about.
All true and also all reasons there would be absolutely no reason to show up on our planet and basically hide.
But what if it IS us. It could be humans coming back to see what went wrong. It happens so infrequently, because in the future, there are only a handful of scientists allowed to do it. Time travel to change the future is dangerous and can only be allowed in dire circumstances.

So many military personnel are seeing these things - literally every single day - that it sounds like it's forcing the Pentagon's hand. Culminating in 2017, when the Pentagon completely reversed course, opened official channels for these incidents to be reported, and have been acknowledging certain cases ever since.
That said, there's no way these "leaks" aren't coordinated. I'm betting this footage was wink-wink "leaked" to
Corbell, and then the Pentagon was standing by ready to confirm. There's a contingent who definitely want this stuff out there, and are pushing hard for transparency.
I could of course be way off base, though. Just repeating what I'm seeing being discussed

The other possibility we need to consider - in addition to the Michael Heiser books I've recommended - is humans from the future returning to observe either the past of their timeline, or us in another timeline.
Kind of skimming through all this , but do the pilots who are filming this thing ever asked why they don't "chase" after it or something, for a closer look? (instead of what looks like just flying along side of it)
What if the UAP's are in fact in a different dimension, and they are seeing our fighter jets and saying, "What the heck is that?"

I doubt they reveal anything of substance on 60 minutes. They will probably just show the same videos that have been released with interviews and that's it. I doubt they have time for in-depth analysis, and discussions.
When they finally show us some HD videos/pictures of what's happening then you'll have my interest.

Anything in depth or substantive probably doesn't survive being kept silent before something like 60 minutes can reveal it.

It seems that most of the "official revelations" of the last couple years have centered around one guy trying to build up his business and media profile - Luis Elizondo.
Most of the other new movies have just featured the same old stuff from the same old mainstays of Coast to Coast AM.
I believe people really do see strange things, and I believe there really are advanced aircraft and drones being tested that are years ahead of official disclosure. But I don't feel like we're any closer to any substantive, earth-shaking revelations. And I always find it odd how little ufologists are willing to credit the possibility of human ingenuity and exponential advancements in man-made technology.

Besides, pilots have been seeing (and interacting) with these things for decades, and we certainly didn't have the tech to manipulate gravity back in the '50s or '60s.

I have no idea about his finances, but he joined To The Stars Academy, got a History Channel show, and has done a ton of media appearances and some speaking appearances. I'm also interested in what actual engineers and physicists have to say about the sightings. 1). Arbitrary yardsticks like "hundreds or thousands of years ahead" are meaningless and vague. And they ignore the exponential advancements of the last 100+ years, insisting that it would somehow - for reasons never stated - take hundreds or thousands of years for humans to advance past what's publicly known about propulsion technology today. 2). I really wish people would take the time to read the link I provided toward the bottom of the first page. I agree with you that these things don't break the laws of physics. I've said that multiple times now. And again, it's not that we can't develop the tech, or that we don't understand it. It's that producing the amount of energy to power it is so far beyond what we're capable of now. To literally create an artificial space-time field around a craft would require more power than exists on our planet at this very moment.

So do you have any actual evidence or not? I don't doubt pilots see some random things while in the air. But with all the commercial airliners crossing the globe seems strange only military jets see these physics defying uap's.

I think it is far more likely that the universe is hostile and routinely wipes out whatever life life is present (and that life is more rare than previously believed) than there being billions of potential planets with intelligent life that do not broadcast their presence, intentionally or accidentally. Firm believer in the great filter, just hope we are the first to pass it and that it isn't still ahead of us.

Sorry - me, personally - no, I do not have any hard evidence. If ever any comes in my possession, though, I'll be sure and call a press conference.
The radar tracking evidence is in the possession of the Pentagon, and has been corroborated by Pentagon officials and the pilots/personnel who have seen it and recorded it. I don't know in what form that data has been released to the public, however.
As for commercial airline pilots, they're absolutely seeing these things too, they just don't have the official channels to report them like the military does to the Pentagon, nor do these craft seem to be as interested in them as they are in our military.
