Thank how grateful ICE employees are to have Trump/Vance in office. We all remember how Biden through the agents on horseback under the bus in the 'whipping' incident. Now compare that to Vance backing up ICE.Strongest moment of JD Vance presser. He eviscerates a press member who tries to say the woman killed in Minneapolis was just a protester who did nothing wrong. Crushes the question. Enjoy: pic.twitter.com/592cJpD7Ms

Oh, I guess Babbit was just taking a peaceful stroll through the capitol and decided to break into a barricaded area, even after being warned. FAFO works both ways hotshot.
She was just there to give out some hugs and, if she were alive today, would be welcome to kick out Ellis' window any time.
You're getting way out there, buddy.
Ashli Babbitt didn't try to kill an officer. That much we know for sure. This dead woman did.
You don't know what her motives were.
I know her actions were not a deadly threat to any officer. But don't let factually differences get in your way.
Unless you knew her personally, you most certainly do not.
I think I watched every link posted here and all the angles. I must live in an alternate reality and not see the same video. I don't see her run over or ram anyone. I see her try to drive off and get shot though. Maybe I need to watch it on my 85" 4k tv in full res to see. Very strange. ***shrug***

you are either lying or need to go for new glasses
EVERYONE can see from some of these videos the ICE officer was RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE before she floored it and knocked into him

Theres no single way you can argue this ice officer acted inappropriately unless you completely ignore facts.

Maybe she shouldn't have put herself into that dangerous situation, which was only made dangerous by her own ignorance/arrogance?

I’m on the ground in Minneapolis for @realDailyWire. This AM one of the organizers, in an @AFLCIO vest, thought I was part of the group.

...the FBI informed the BCA that the U.S. Attorney's Office had reversed course: the investigation would now be led solely by the FBI, and the BCA would no longer have access to the case materials, scene evidence or investigative interviews necessary to complete a thorough and independent investigation.
Without complete access to the evidence, witnesses and information collected, we cannot meet the investigative standards that Minnesota law and the public demands. As a result, the BCA has reluctantly withdrawn from the investigation.

Officers are trained to treat a vehicle being driven at them as deadly force.
They have seconds to respond. They don’t know the driver’s intent. They’re in real time, not hindsight.
That’s why they respond with force.

Absolutely.
This woman was unhinged. It is reasonable to conclude she INTENDED harm against the officer.
Also, her actions during the day will be considered and if she had lived would have supported that she premeditated her crimes.
I say convict her post-humorously.

Its paywalled but is a masterclass in gaslighting:
Basically, they say she didn't hit the officer

Why is there even a discussion about whether she hit him or not? She accelerated a two ton vehicle towards a law enforcement officer. That earns you a trip to the pearly gates every single day, and twice on Sundays.

She effed around but good lord just to pull out a gun and start blasting like that when the car is turning away from you is absurd. Hope they arrest that guy.

I like the idea of prosecuting the "wife".
I was intending posthumously but enjoyed the autocorrect. And I realize our Constitution doesn't allow for conviction of dead peoples as they have no ability to defend themselves, but I would entertain a mock trial.
We need more of those. Sort of Peoples Court / Judge Judy style for when the the legal process cannot or will not play out.
Comeys case would be another example.

Since KBTX is in the OP, here is how they're now referring to the woman who tried to run over the ICE agent.
Woman killed by ICE agent in Minneapolis was a mother of 3, poet and new to the city
changing direction is also acceleration even if magnitude is constant.foo00 said:
She was in reverse. She stopped. She shifted into drive. She began moving forward at the agent in front of her.
Acceleration is the change in velocity over time. Going from being stopped to moving is the literal definition of it. She may have accelerated -more- after being shot, but that is after the fact.

Quit interfering with law enforcement, pretty simple.
Especially amateur ones who panic at the first sign of stress. Can't imagine a Texas state trooper putting himself in that position or firing multiple shots in a residential area against an unarmed person. That agent is Uvalde-ready.
