We just finished a trade show for the RR in FL, our booth was 2 booths away from the exhibit company who was advertising for the next show which is located in MSP in April. The sales lady said the numbers of attendees and exhibitors is way down as in covid numbers down. She tried to give a discount to the company next to us and they told her, they wouldn't go if they were paid to.

I used to do a ton of biz up there and traveled regularly there until 2008. Went back in 2019 and was shocked how much the place turned into a ****hole. We should pay the canadians to take it.
Maybe Denmark would take it in trade?

I understand that he said that, but who knows what he believes. He's probably trying to get out of there w/o any confrontation. Even if he supports them they have no right to detain people and threaten them to go rent something else. They are stalking people. I usually got to Minneapolis 2x a quarter and our company told us last week that all travel plans there are cancelled and anyone in our offices there can work from home.

It will probably happen. It isn't uncommon for a person at the rental counter to offer me a free SUV upgrade due to my size (6'7"/250#) and sometimes I accept depending on what they offer but sometimes their idea of an SUV is a Mitsubishi Outlander and I can fit more comfortably in a Camry than one of those. If its a tahoe/full-size truck I always accept the free upgrade offer.

A.) why do so many foreigners risk life and limb to get here?

Also, a Bivens action against a federal LEO acting within the performance of his duty has a lot of roadblocks for it to be successful. (It is my assumption that is where they are heading, a 1983 suit.)

City of Minneapolis gave the Floyd family a huge pay day before the trial even started as their way of virtue signaling. They'll probably do the exact same thing here. It's not right but it's an easy pay day for the family

Chauvin and the others were City cops. Not federal agents. City was the defendant.

Here, DHS would be so no reason for the City to pay anything.

Protesters at the ICE building in Minneapolis are pouring water on the road. I guess they want it to freeze and then the agents can slip and fall when they come out? Or they want some car to lose control and plow into somebody.

Doesn't matter. It will be a very short "trial" with no defendant. You can't sue the Feds for this.
