The way she hit him, bent him over with the gun in his right hand, braced by the hood (didn't need his left hand) at nearly point blank range. His position on the hood after impact improved his shooting posture, ironically enough.

All these people getting pulled from their cars for not complying, threatening officers, impeding law enforcement- are any of them actually jailed and if so for how long? It seems like in the past they'd be out in the street the next day (prob especially so in Minnesota) - is there any deterrent? Punishment should be more than a couple hours in the clink.

Impound their cars for a few days. Charge them out the wazzoo to get it back.

ETA: Oh that's right, forgot the local police refuse to assist. So DHS hires tow trucks to take them to the car junkyard.

Everyone is blowing their horns, driving through red lights, driving on the wrong side of the road to keep up with ICE. I'm just waiting for someone to get seriously injured in a wreck.

No, it's not. It's a free or reduced fee (for a heavy arsed "bro-dozer" that could be significant) license plate. It also is recognized for reduced parking rates at airports, reduced or free entry fees to national and state parks and a number of other things that you know that everyone else would take advantage of if they could. The reason that there is so many is that San Antonio and surrounds have a way above average active, reserve and retired military presence.

FYI: It doesn't allow you to park in a handicapped space unless you have a real handicapped mirror hanger or a registered handicapped license plate. If you see one, and I have, those people are an assho.

Replacing car windows and seat belts isn't cheap. So at least there's that. ICE should knock out the headlights and taillights too. Force the local PD to write tickets.

Good to know, There are two I see between my kids two schools. One is a jacked up white Chevy truck and the other is a jacked up black Chevy truck, both have oversized tall and wide tires. Both of them park in handicap spots with their DV plates, no hang tag. And more often than not they take up a handicap spot and half the spot next to it. I know you aren't supposed to assume someone's disability but both of these guys look completely able-bodied.

It wears me out seeing them do this daily.

DV and qualifying military medal plates park for free at airports in Texas. $25+ per day parking for free adds up if you travel a lot. Also reduced registration fees and I think a couple other perks.
