From what I understand, not from historical precedent. For that screen cap, he had already deemed her a threat and was neutralizing the threat. He could have thought she was a threat to him, the other officers, and the general public on and around the street. There were obviously people all around the area.

Ugly for some, but only the close minded minions.

Nope, there is nothing that says police are required to only fire 1 shot. You shoot until the threat is neutralized.

Once shots are fired then the shooter is engaged with a threat. The shots occurred quickly consecutively and without a mag dump. What if his shots hadn't hit and we instead saw a video of her pulling a 180 and running over multiple agents or hitting fellow protestors?

There's no problems with his shots

Exactly, she had already tried to run over one federal agent so it's logical to assume she could take out further agents if she wasn't neutralized.

How is that agent supposed to know this wasn't a prelude to a planned attack on agents to drive them over, it certainly is within the realm of possibility with these radicalized lunatics.

I think it was about seven seconds from when she started to back up until shots fired after vehicle impact with the officer. All three shots were fired in less than two seconds.

Yeah, it's coming up on a year now. Time for these people's year in performance review like what happens in the corporate world. Bondi and Patel need to be put on a PIP yesterday. Start doing what you were brought in for, or it's time to go. With as great as some of Trump's picks have been in people like Rubio, Homan, Rollins, etc.......Bondi and Patel have been 2 on the opposite end of the spectrum. Sh-t of get off the pot.

In this thread, we've now decided two things

First, the officer should have waited until he was dead before he decided if the driver was or wasn't a deadly threat and to respond in kind

Second, in the split seconds between his first and second shot, the officer should have concluded that the driver was no longer a threat and stopped firing
