Always bored liberal white women with useless degrees and dead-end jobs.

This is the result of Boomers letting women stop making sammiches, get out of the kitchen, and wanting to change the world and turn it more feminine.

She and her group of cars went there with intention to disrupt ice activity

Your vehicle cannot be used as an extension of your person in furtherance of civil disobedience

You wanna civil protest, get out, sit in the street, observe law enforcement instruction or don't and get arrested

You do not get to road rage and wildly spin your car around in the direction of law enforcement

Should you be allowed to strafe the crowd with a firearm and claim you didn't intend to fire anything?

Who's to know your intent?

The left and their Dem overlords have twisted the "right to peaceful assembly and protest" into a grotesque distortion that includes interference, impeding, throwing bottles/bricks/objects at officers, breaking and smashing and looting, and even assault and killing. And when confronted on it or when law officers defend themselves or others, they fall back to "we have the right to protest peacefully".

And unlike this woman, she was not threat and did not try to kill anyone.

She was carrying a backpack. Was the officer supposed to know what was in it?

I guess he could have asked the officers standing right behind her to check it out. But he just shot her instead.

Oh, I guess Babbit was just taking a peaceful stroll through the capitol and decided to break into a barricaded area, even after being warned. FAFO works both ways hotshot.

She was just there to give out some hugs and, if she were alive today, would be welcome to kick out Ellis' window any time.

You're getting way out there, buddy.

Ashli Babbitt didn't try to kill an officer. That much we know for sure. This dead woman did.

ICE is enforcing congressionally passed laws of our country. Stay the **** out of their way and don't obstruct justice. She ****ed and around and found out when she assaulted a federal agent. Life is hard. It's harder when you're stupid.

The fear in her eyes is exactly why yesterday was so important. Set the tone, let these "activists" know that there will be a price for stupidity. As a country we are wayyy too soft on this behavior.

Just like the videos online where the cop has to ask 30 times to see ID. Way to soft. I dreaded the moments where my parents had to ask me twice for something. I knew there'd be hell to pay.

Well in that case, they couldn't define "woman." Or "illegal."

Of course, they have no moral tether.

Those officers are extremely lucky that they weren't killed by friendly fire. The disparity between the threat and the action taken, especially considering the probability of collateral damage, makes it one of the worst uses of deadly force by law enforcement ever.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned the updated standards for how these are treated in Barnes vs Felix. The officer can't put himself in danger and then claim self defense.

https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24pdf/23-1239_onjq.pdf

The Supreme Court has explicitly rejected the "moment of threat" framework in favor of the long-standing "totality of the circumstances" test for evaluating excessive force claims under the Fourth Amendment.

Nope. The officer's mission was to protect whatever or whoever was behind that door. Every indication was that that was as far as she was allowed to go. She decided that was not the case. Plus, if you look at the video, nearly 15 full seconds passes between the time a gun is spotted and the time it is fired. Plenty of time to make the conscious decision NOT to go further.

The difference in that case and this one is that the officer in the Felix case tried to stop a car that was already moving. In this case the officer had established position and control in front of a non-moving vehicle. He he didn't place himself in harm. Harm began when she proceed in his direction.

He didn't think he was 'putting himself in danger'. He was making an arrest which should have been routine and the woman turned violent when she decided to swerve her thousand-pound vehicle at/near him.

Facts are the enemy of the liberal, especially women.

Distortion of reality into a false account or narrative is key to all of the left.

They never put their gun in their and shot her in the face. She was not just driving away and shot. But let's not live in reality. Never let a crisis go to waste

She says dont go watch it. It is the most frightening thing she has seen. But she will tell you her claim that it was not self defense and was an execution that they took her life for no reason.

Good thing the officer never put himself in that situation. It was the parked car of an individual in the process of being detained / potentially arrested. What does the supreme court say about assaulting an officer on duty? It'd be much more applicable in this situation.

Doesn't matter what you believe. It only matters to the officer on the ground and whether he realistically believes there's a deadly threat. A detained person advancing a motor vehicle at you fits that description. Let's the legal standard. Everything else is trivial.

One thing is known. The driver's name was not Ashli Babbitt.

Ashli Babbitt was trying to enter a secure, barricaded area through a window. As a former military member, she should have known what the consequences would be.

Let me guess, you think Floyd was choked to death too?
