They change it to meet whatever plot they need to. He's supposed to be on par with Captain in the MCU with robot arm being even stronger. But Spider-Man was able to overpower that arm who was later overpowered by Captain America. I'll say in general he's treated as super powered, but is never shown doing ridiculous feats like Captain America is (pushed Thanos back, hold a helicopter down, etc)

Bucky is enhanced aside from the arm. He's Cap-strength plus a maybe-stronger-than-Cap vibranium arm.

This show should be a lot more like a traditional MCU film. Maybe it'll produce less buzz than the average WandaVision episode but definitely more action. I guess I could see cliffhangers but maybe nothing too shocking.

Also... we named our dog Bucky (or Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes when he's in trouble). So... we are quite excited for this one. Hopefully it can come close to that Winter Soldier / Civil War vibe and quality.

That actually could be an interesting plot point for a few episodes of Falcon deciding to undergo some treatment to become stronger and faster. Queue up the bad guys trying to get their hands on that treatment.

In one of the trailers, it shows Sam launching the shield toward a tree then later him pulling it out of a tree. 1. There is your first super-powered look at Falcon. 2. When does the shield decide the bounce vs stick?

I think I read a rumor that the Power Broker would appear in this? Maybe that's why that little girl from Solo could throw Bucky around. Maybe by the end Sam will get some extra strength?

I don't know how I'd feel about that last part of my theory - kinda hope Sam stays the way he is, in a way.

While he was no Thanos or Loki, I'd hardly call him "lame" given that he did something that Loki failed to do in tearing apart the Avengers.

I'm curious to see how this show starts or what the inciting incident is or whatever. Because last time we saw Zemo he was in that glass super max prison cell/compartment thing with Agent Ross taunting him. So I wonder how he gets/got out? Granted, that was five or six years ago in-universe, pre-snap, so maybe he was snapped and when he came back he was somehow no longer in his cell? Or maybe we actually see him escape, present day, in real time.

I did last week, as it served as a good primer for both WandaVision and this. I totally forgot that they debuted both Spider-man AND Black Panther in Civil War. So much stuffed into that movie. But yeah, I had also forgotten so much about Zemo, and his motivations are now crystal clear again after my rewatch. To that end, this basically looks to be a more focused Civil War sequel minus Cap, so I highly recommend the rewatch.
