We're reaching Wandavision levels of speculation here.
This completely threw us as well. When first mentioned they described it as a pirate enclave that just kind of does its own thing and few people have heard of it.Fightin TX Aggie said:Madripoor sort of threw me. It looked like Hong Kong or something, and Sam was all "What's Madripoor?"YNWA_AG said:
All of the Wolverine being in the MCU articles are starting to appear because of Madripoor

I felt funny watching her on screen.Fat Bib Fortuna said:
A few things that had me thinking after the episode.
1) I love seeing Bucky unleashed. If he lets it go 100%, nobody is a match for him 1 on 1, even the other super soldiers - no way they have as much combat experience. Their only advantage is numbers.
2) I would speculate that the US is also trying to replicate the super soldier formula now that Cap has vanished and Bucky isn't trust-worthy. They've perhaps unlocked part of the code and are using Walker as the guinea pig - or likely he volunteered - and they've made some strides, thus his ability to catch the shield, etc. - but it's also got side effects like some of the rage we're seeing.
3) Introducing Wakanda back into the mix had me really thinking about what's going on there in the post-blip timeline. Is Black Panther still alive at the moment? It could be somewhat of a gap filler to BP2 as well if they want to use it. The more I think about it, the more it seems logical to have T'Challa die the same way Chadwick Boseman died, of cancer. Despite all of Wakanda's tech advancement, I am assuming they haven't developed a cure for cancer. That fate would be a very natural way to have his screen death reflect his real-life death and let the characters (and fans) grieve accordingly. I'd much rather than than him being defeated by some random new villain.
4) Sharon Carter - swearing, drinking, whipping ass. It takes a special talent to be hotter at 34 (2021) than you were at 27 (Winter Soldier.) Holy moley.

They were in the middle of getting rockets shot at them. Maybe we see him get chastised next time.Batzarro said:
Did anybody else see Bucky stash a vial in his pocket after the RPG hit the lab? It seemed like Dr. Nagel was lying about not having any serum in his lab and Bucky would be one to tell. Bucky might want to juice up Sam in the next episode.
Loved Madripoor. It wasn't great that Zemo shot the doctor and got very little pushback from Sam and Bucky. They should have had a stronger slap on the wrist for a straight up murder.

I know this is not happening but what if the Power Broker was Loki?
God that would be awesome.

Just caught up. Kickass episode but I don't buy the Sharon bad guy angle for one second. Lots of misdirection there. Similarly with Sam not being in on Zemo's escape... I think there's aa lot of spycraft here.
Very curious who the Power Broker will be, though. If it's not Zemo or Sharon, I'd have to think it would be someone important and well known.

The power broker is Bucky Rodgers. Steve and Peggy's kid that was jealous of his father.
