Is the shield made from cardboard?

For some reason I have very low expectations for FaWS. I'm sure I'll be fired up by the finale, but I'm just not as into this as Loki or WandaVision. Kinda of feels like the buddy cop filler between the two good series.
(This will get brought back up in 6 weeks showing how much of a moron I am)
Spiderman was 8 months later, this is in between as C@LAg saidAMW2010 said:
That was an awesome first episode!
The canyon scene... DOPE!.... Bucky with his psychiatrist... damn, that was some deep stuff. (Being alone)... Bucky with the older Asian guy, and that being his son!! I was like omg please don't tell him please don't tell him! It was funny how he said people taking pictures with tigers on dating apps... I'm guessing that was shot in 2020 when tiger king was big? I liked seeing Rhodes in there, wasn't expecting that, hope we get more random small cameos.
As far as timeline... we are post blip... wandavision happens like weeks after... spider man 2 was 3 months after? And is this somewhere in that ballpark as well?
Actually, it's the nose ring. That should get you banned from life much less sport the CA shield. Hopefully, he's having to defend himself against people trying to rip that thing out of his face and he loses.Claude! said:You know what bugs me the most about this?oragator said:

EPISODE 1
High marks! The "canyon scene" has been done 100 times, but it still makes for fun action, and it was a great way to reintroduce Sam's skills and abilities, especially how he uses redwing as a wingman.
Marvel could do an entire series just on Bucky's quest for atonement, and Ep. 1 was a good introduction to just how difficult that will be.
Thought the story with Mr. Yuri was a bit rushed.
Overall, great intro episode.

Anybody else notice a change in language? Seemed to be a step up in profanity from what I'm used to from Marvel.
I forgot about Batroc but Rhoadie felt really organic being there. Just a FridayAggie_Journalist said:
Casually working in Batroc and Rhoadie was pretty fun. Not too long ago, that would have been a big reveal. "Wow! Look! This person you saw one before exists across movies!"
Now it's just Friday. And it's such a cool new normal.
Boy, I thought the opposite. I'm no expert and usually don't notice such things, but I thought it was big budget feature quality.amercer said:
I enjoyed it, but it was underwhelming and I thought the production value wasn't great at some points.
