I wonder if its in the cards before Trump finishes his term. Would probably be more geopolitically complex without using a narco terrorism or nuclear threat narrative.

If he can get thru any NATO/UN red tape, maybe he tries to simply purchase it with Venezuela oil money?

No. The Cuban government is next. They depended on Venezuela for their support, which now is dead and gone.

Think I'll go have a Cuba Libre about now.

In no way is Greenland "next". From a geopolitical perspective it's stable and we have normal relations with Denmark in addition to established assets there that have been there for a while. We will basically bolster that relationship over time with security guarantees that will better help the US interests in that region.

For anyone betting, Cuba is the easy money. Their communist regime may fall on its own without direct intervention from us. Here is a thread on it from 2 weeks ago.

They were already on the ropes with this VZ naval blockade because most of their daily oil they need to survive has been shut down. Cubans are going without electricity and food as we speak because they almost wholly depended on Maduro for continued existence.

Nobody has called Iran yet, so I'm going to go ahead and put my money there. It's an incredibly beneficial regime change that nobody can criticize given the current brutality and human rights violations undertaken by the regime. Not to mention the relative ease by which it could be accomplished given their current weakness. There will never be a better time.
