I think this is all planned with the EU... they are going to pretend they dont want the US taking Greenland, they are going to throw fits to make this look real. However, the NATO countries know that if the US owns Greenland, the Ruskies and Chinamen will stay away!

Finally, there will be a diplomatic solution that gets the American foot in the door with a strategic base and control of a large swath of territory as a "NATO protector", while Greenland maintains sovereignty on paper. This will be touted as an epic "took Greenland" win by Trump, while the TDS left will "fact check" that he didnt really take all of Greenland.

So in the end, the left will be complaining about how Trump didnt go hard enough in Greenland. First angry Trump was going after Greenland at all, then angry he didnt take enough of it. Predicatble TDS toddlers.

The USA has formally been the defender of Iceland since 1951. Iceland has no military. 98% of their citizens speak English. It's a cool place to visit.

There are several Mexican restaurants there. The US built a big airport there.

Seems like a good move...

Most of these places in Greenland have names that aren't in English, so there's gonna be some work to do. I'd suggest some modern Americans and other stops with American named places…New Green Bay, Staubachland, Reagan, Vanilla Ice Shelf, Michael Jordanville…make it feel like home.

The people of Greenland will be just delighted with this plan. Overjoyed.

Fetterman is the most level headed Democrat there is… he may not vote for or with Republicans but he takes a common sense approach to most issues.

i actually agree with him regarding Greenland… its a very strategic country that the US could use to protect not just the US but also all of the EU. It would be better to negotiate for it vs just going in there and taking it. Good suggestion by Fetterman. We shall see. I guess we could agree not to install a Buccees

We are not and should not take over Greenland. This is just Trump running his mouth. For all the good things he does he certainly has his list of head scratchers.

The operation in Venezuela made a lot more sense than talking smack about Greenland.

As Senator Kennedy(R-LA) said yesterday, taking Greenland by force would be "weapons grade stupid". He's correct.

No one is taking Greenland by force. Trump also didn't collude with Russia.
