Tim Howard's take hasn't aged well at all. Granted he is also just not a good pundit. I can understand the hesitancy. He got relegated twice in a row and we paid a hefty English premium for him. It was a risk and hopefully he keeps this form up

I'll be honest, I didn't understand the signing and most people thought we over paid for him. It's amazing what he's done and I wonder if any of the pundits have changed their minds about the signing.
And damn, soccer is so up and down.

Eh, that Brentford loss was bad as we weren't even competitive
It’s almost like Arsenal started the season badly because they had half their XI missing for the opener against Brentford, and then played the European and Premier League champions 🤔

Ramsdale looking like a great signing, and frankly all of the signings the last 2 years are looking good (except Willian). I think 4th place is possible and should be our goal, we just need to remain consistent and not have a long spell of poor play like we did last year. But really, that hasn't happened since ESR and Odegaard have been heavily involved.

Looks like Unai to Newcastle. This one intrigues me more.
Agreed. They screwed up not selling Kane for 100m. Now between his attitude and reduced production they will be lucky to get half that. Conte of course will not want to sell him. Comparing to his Inter squad (3-5-2), he will want Kane as his Lukaku and Son as his Martinez. That has potential to be quite good. The problem is that they have no distributors/playmakers at CM so they will become one dimensional relying on the WBs to provide service. Any team that will be able to shut down the wide areas will effectively shut down their attack. Conte will need/want to rebuild their CM 3 and that will cost atleast 100-150m. Highly doubt any team will be willing to sell him the quality CM he will want in Jan unless the player has an expiring contract.Strangely Attractive said:
This was stated on the Arsecast and I tend to agree: Conte only tends to stay 3 years at each stop and Spurs need a longer rebuild than that. I think they need to move Kane on and should have done that last year. I think he could maybe make them a top 6 team at best, but really they need to start over. I feel like they're where we were 3-4 years ago.
