Lol not just Declan either. He had their entire squad going nuts. I'd love to know what he saidAg Since 83 said:
No matter where their careers go from here (and I think we all have a good idea where), I will always laugh at the memory of Eddie Nketiah getting in Declan Rice's head that badly

€20m - Hickey to Arsenal
— ScotsAbroadPod (@ScotsAbroadPod) May 2, 2022
It's emerged in the last hour that Arsenal are keen to get Hickey over the line as their first summer signing.
Would be in line with their new youthful side, scout linked to Bologna after Tomiyasu signing & Tierney injuries plus no settled RB.

They're always like that. Son and Kane get away with a lot.

I find the Spuds board kind of hypocritical. They complained we scored a goal after a handball (the pundits seem to feel the Ref and VAR got it right) but have no issue with Son not being called for a handball that kept them from having a PK.
Arsenal are preparing one final effort to get Eddie Nketiah to sign a contract extension, as per @SamiMokbel81_DM. https://t.co/0HKLJby7Hc

I could see Martinelli continue getting training/looks as a future #9 but I'm not sure if he or Balogun really play into this decision. Balogun in particular will likely be on loan next season. At this point the regular playing time is more important to his development.Strangely Attractive said:
If we are feeling more and more confident in either Balogun or Martinelli as a 9 I would be ok with that scenario (I have no idea if we do though) because Eddie isn't bad and will definitely get better, and there would be a role for him in some cup games as you said. Then I would probably look to sell Nketiah the following year after theoretically his value increases, and upgrade with a second striker then. De Jong and Jesus would be a significant upgrade for sure.
