100% agree. If you can't win games against the 14th and 16th teams in the league, do we really deserve CL.

Frankly it's still pretty awesome that this team, as young as they are, the terrible performances of the entire FW department, and poorly timed key injuries, is still in total control of their own destiny.

I agree with the sentiment but I will point out that Newcastle, during this calendar year (2022), has only lost one game at home (Liverpool) and drawed another, all other home matches they've won.

They made some good acquisitions during the window and are playing better than a mid table team, and this will be a challenge. But we are the better team.

And on the other hand we have a very good record at St. James' Park. COYG!

Missed fouls were pretty evident, but that offsides call on Nketiah - even if it wouldn't have resulted in anything, and didn't look like it would - was egregious.
