They're gonna have to money whip Saka and Martinelli to stay at this point. These young players want to play in the CL. Granted it's also their fault the season is collapsing

So much to play for, but the pressure seems to have gotten to the club. Will they be able to muster any fight for the remainder of the season? Last two seasons have been 8th place finishes, finishing same or worse would be an abject failure.

To be taken out of CL contention this late in the season due to injuries is infuriating.

Pressure? We're missing three very significant players and we don't have any subs that can step in. I doubt many clubs do.
We could blame pressure if we were folding without these injuries.

I agree. Injuries derailed the season, which we all knew was a possibility given how thin we are. We do need this youngsters, like Odegaard there, to step up. Get back to Europa and get a new striker in. Someone who can hopefully score at least 12 goals a season. I'll take anyone.

Between Aggie athletics and Arsenal I sometimes get the sense that I live in a simulation and whoever programmed it has sports as a variable simply meant to see how I handle hope being dashed.

No apology necessary. We are all frustrated to see what's happening to this season at this point of the season when there was so much hope just a few weeks ago.
I agree that injuries and lack of serviceable depth is an issue.
My opinion is the pressure of a long season and being in the mix for a European spot late in the season has added an element this current team is not accustomed to and would be felt whether there were injuries or not.
I think there are additional items to discuss regarding why this season is playing out the way it is, but now is not the time.
There is still something to play for, but it will be a struggle.
I'm looking at our schedule and beginning to wonder if we will take 3 points again the rest of the year. Maybe we can eke out a draw against Everton. It's all looking a bit dire.

Random thought... With Laca struggling to score and the team not scoring much recently should we try something else in the next match? Im thinking ESR as a false 9. That gets our most dynamic offensive players all on the field together. ESR should in theory be a good false 9 and brings some speed and progessive carries to the team that Laca doesn't. If Tomi is still out and Arteta isnt ready to give Nuno another shot, i really think we should move Cedric to the left and shift White to the right. Thoughts?
