Think we badly need both.

I think the push for Vlahovic now is because Edu realizes the competition for him in the summer will be too great so if we can't get him now we don't get him. Doesn't hurt that Fiorentina seems to be motivated to move now as well.

Not sure what we do about CM but agree we need something. We are short on numbers and quality. Really wish they could work out a deal for Guimaraes. Think he would be perfect. He has excellent passing numbers and is defensive enough to allow whomever he partners with to push forward a bit more.

I would prefer Bruno also but started hearing yesterday that we may have to go loan or cheap purchase for CM because of the cash earmarked for ST. Seeing a bunch of people bag on Arthur because of his "lack of professionalism". I honestly know nothing about his troubles at Juventus but I have a hard time believing we would be in for a troublemaker after Duezy, Ozil & now PEA. Here is an analysis of the potential transfer that I found yesterday...

Starting to see a bunch of chatter that we want to buy Youri Tielemans in the summer. His current contract expires in 2023 and it looks like he doesn't want to stay at LCFC. LCFC doesn't want to sell in Jan but will be tempted to in the summer so they don't lose him for nothing.
