this is a contrast to the spring training under Cooper when the astros were terrible...and everyone said 'no big deal...' and the team ended up terrible during the regular season too

It sounds like a good trade to me. I will miss Q, he always played above his skill level.
Trades like that are how you start to build an organization from the bottom up. I like it. I'll miss the snap throws to first from Q, though.

Wouldn't know, but he is swinging the bat really well.
Astros cut Jack Cust and Zach Duke to the surprise of no one. 5th starter spot now between Weiland and Lyles, although I wish we would cut JA Happ also.
