I met Larry Dierker at the youth sports summit tonight. Got to talk a little bit about the rebuilding process. He said the ownership waited too long to start rebuilding. Was definitely a cool experience!

In a surprising move the Astros released Livan Hernandez today.

I always like seeing GHWB and Barbara at the games. I appreciate how much they seem to simply appreciate a night spent watching baseball. Plus, I can say, "Hey, I shook his hand at the 12th Man once."

Gotta get Uverse. They carry all the Fox Sports stations, so if you're an Astros fan, you have FS Houston. Pretty much the sole reason I switched from TWC here in Austin.
