I know a lot of people wanted Ruggiano up to the Bigs, but this works for both parties. Ruggiano will likely be used immediately with a contender, the Stros get younger at a position they really need to get better at.

No, but Ryan McCurdy has suddenly come on as a decent hitter who could move up.. taking the position of someone like Landon Powell who could be replacing Snyder who hopefully would be sent to the curb completely. I question us adding another A ball mediocre catcher if some moves werent about to happen.

You never know how a 20-year-old will pan out, but overall, I think it's a good move for the Astros. They traded a 30-year-old outfielder that was signed as a free agent for a position of need in the farm system.

Maybe I'm crazy, but Oswalt said he would sign with a team in June. Maybe if the Astros keep playing like they have, would he sign with them again?

Oswalt wants to win a WS. This team has definitely been a pleasant surprise, but we are nowhere near WS contenders. I highly doubt he'll sign with us again. I would love it if he did, but I don't see it happening.

I think ultimately he'll sign on with Texas if he does decide to come back

Bases loaded, 1 out, and Altuve is not ready for a first pitch fastball. Are you kidding me? In that situation, the only pitch you are swinging at is a fastball up and over the plate. How the hell do you let it blow you by like that?

Altuve is the last guy I can complain about.. but that hurt a lot.

I know I've said it before but I love the fact that we are wearing traditional road grays again, I hated always wearing draytons red jersey. Plus the red hat on the road looks a TON better than the black.
