Matt Downs and JD Martinez have been optioned to OKC. Greene will be activated and there will be a corresponding move tomorrow

How many times in MLB history has a team sent its leading RBI man (Martinez) down to the minors in August when he wasn't hurt?

Guy was hitting .282 and on pace for 120 RBI after one month. This team ... good god.

I agree.

I was watching the pre game show yesterday and pitching coach Doug Brocail said "they have a bunch of guys who would be in triple A on any other team".

Sometimes the truth may hurt but it's better to just be honest.

I know it's probably a few years away at least, but the average ERA among our starting pitching draft picks this year at Tri City is 2.62. We just need these guys to continue to develop and advance through the ranks in a timely manner.

Seeing these uniforms brings back great childhood memories from The Dome.

Sadly, it also reminds me of those 3 straight division series they lost. God I hated the Braves. And the Padres and Kevin Brown for a postseason.
