Of our top 20 prospects, 8 have been acquired by Luhnow this year (10 if Borchering and Krauss make the top 20, which I expect they will). That doesn't even include any of this years draft picks, which also include many talented players who will probably be on the top 20 next year. Luhnow has already made major strides in rebuilding our farm even though he hasn't even been here for a full year yet

I would not be suprised if the stros farm system is a top 10 system once the farm systems are re-graded following the end of the year.

We won't be top 10. But we will be top 20 and probably in the 11-15 range.

A top 10 system is another year of great drafting away.

JD has shown some promise lately though. He has his average up around .250, which isn't great by any means, but considering where it was, it is a step in the right direction. If he can get it to .270 by the end of the year that would be really good IMO. I just don't know how realistic that is

I'm starting to think JD may be a player not that much different that CJ.

Good year for him = .270, 15, 80 rbi

Just not seeing him developing into a 'star' at any point. When he was in his slump, it was one of the worst ML swings I've ever seen. He look so confused at the plate it looked like he was going to cry at some points.

We'd have to get a heck of an offer to move Bud, since he hasn't even reached his arb years yet.

I'm hoping we get a good offer for Lowrie. He's a bit too fragile to rely on, IMO.
