They just want the major league team to make the official announcement about the call up. He will be at Minute Maid tonight. Announcement and correpsonding move will be made later this afternoon if history holds.

The Nationals are a very unimpressive team -- despite somehow having the best record in the national league. Davey Johnson should be NL Manager of the Year based on the talent displayed in these first 2 games.

the astros hitting coach needs to be teaching the hitters ---> gap to foul pole is where you want to hit the ball at MMP. Bags, Bidge, Berkman, etc.., they figured that out quick at MMP. Gap to Gap doesn't work

He is what he is and that's a solid complimentary piece. This team right now needs building blocks for a new foundation and he just doesn't fit that mold.

I think CJ will project to be much like a solid complimentary 3rd baseman we had by the name of Ty Wiggington.

I think mazag hit the nail on the head with CJ. You surround someone with talent, the numbers should go up.

It could also be due to the fact that he is playing in meaningful games for the first time in his career.

We haven't had a player on our roster pitched around since Puma. I just think CJ decided to actually try to play some baseball now that he isn't playing in meaningless games in front of 30,000 empty seats

When nobody on the roster needs to be respected, nobody on the roster sees very good stuff to hit.

Put Adam Everett on the Cardinals all those years batting between Pujols Edmonds and Rolan and he likely see a lot more fast balls in the strike zone.

Thats my point.

Chris Johnson batting behind JD Martinez and in front of Jed Lowrie means there is no reason to groove him anything. I think he is seeing a lot more juicy pitches with the Dbacks.
