Gallo signed for 900k over slot at 2.25 millokn at the #39 pick. The Astros will be able to offer him more than that much over slot. Signing McCullers is now priority #1 of this front office. And unlike the past front offices... I have complete faith in Luhnow.

Melancon definitely struggled to start the year, but was pretty dang good after getting sent down to AAA. Boston called him back up a couple of days ago and he pitched one scoreless. I expect he'll pitch better than he did in April for the Sox, but it's still one of the best trades of the offseason, in terms of what the Astros got in return.

Much better teams than the Astros have had a perfect game thrown against them. Tip your cap to the pitcher when he's on like Cain was tonight. Deshaies predicted the no-no in the fifth. Cain had everything working tonight. I hate that it happened against us, but it's impressive watching that type of performance.
