Happ with 3.1 innings pitched. Gave up 8 earned runs and 2 homers. I don't care how the batters did. When you are down by 8 runs early, you don't have a chance regardless.

You can't tell me there is no one in the farm club who can come up and take his place. The guy absolutely sucks.

F*** that Philly loving b*****d Ed Wade for destroying this team.

Calling a perfect game in the 90's once, hardly is a 'knack' for calling perfect games. Cain had 14k's, most of them swinging. Give the guy his due, he was money last night.

I dont understand how you guys can watch night in and night out and get so upset. Maybe Im just a bad fan, but I cannot get emotionally invested in the big club right now. This is not a winning team and we all knew that at the beginning of the year. The most important things happening with the Astros right now are down on the farm.

with the 'stros moving to the AL west, I will have to get back in the mode of staying up late for the west coast games. Dozed off after the 3rd inning...woke up this morning to see that the astros got no hit

Went and saw Promethius last night. Had no idea.

Whatever. Had it been a 3-0 game I would care more. But our guys knew they had no chance once Happ gave up 8. A lot easier when the other team doesn't give a ****.

That highest red square was the called third strike on Altuve that crossed the plate at his shoulders. It's pretty bad to call a fastball that high a strike. The fact that it was on the shortest player in the league made it much worse. One call probably wouldn't have changed the game, but that was one of the worst calls I've seen in a while. Missing low and out is common. Ringing a guy up on a ball at his shoulders is as bad as the safe call at first in the Rockies game a few weeks ago.

In regards to today's game, what a nice bounce back win to get back to even on this road trip. We'll need our bats this weekend in Arlington. I'll be at the Saturday game in my Astros shirt. The rest of my bandwagon jumping family will be donning Rangers gear.

i wasnt trying to rub anything in your faces. He was making the case that because the astros have an average offense, they are better than the perfect game. I would guess that most no hitters/perfect games are thrown against average to below average offenses, so there's no shame in having one thrown against them
