Keith Law has Kevin Gausman as the top rated college pitcher in the draft.

Seems to be some uncertainty around Zimmer due to a recent injury.

Ive seen some concerns about Appel and his high pitch counts this year.

I want the best pitcher. we got the 5 tool outfielder last year. I'm just pissed that zunino wasn't coming out the year we got castro. He will definitely be better.

I think we can get steals in the outfield in later rounds. I want a college 3rd basemen in our top five picks

Yes Lancaster is a hitters park all the way. Thin air, wind blowing and funky dimensions lead to ball flying out and dropping all over that place.

I wasn't aware that Zimmer had an injury. I'd stay about from the LSU kid. Just not a big fan of his.

Mazag, there aren't many college 3B that are gonna go that high. I'd like to see one there as well but just don't think it will happen. Maybe draft an athletic SS with some frame to grow.

I agree with Mazag. To get to a World Series you have to have nasty pitching. The Astros proved in 2005 that you don't have the strongest hitting team to get there. That team was in a lot of low scoring ball games because of the pitching.

If they can build a strong pitching staff, they are going to be competitive. Get the hitters after the bullpen and starting rotation are up to snuff.

The production truck went down and the headquarters also "took a hit" today or something. They were saying the cardinals game was all screwed up too.

That's great and all, but that's not the first time they've had recurring technical difficulties this season.

In short, Fox Sports is terrible.

If Toronto stays in the race and they look for pitching I think we should move Wandy there for Aaron Sanchez and Noah Syndergaard. That would be two big time arms if Toronto would part with them.

Drafting a top line college arm this year and getting two good SP prospects would allow us to possibly move Cosart to the bullpen. Then our staff starts to look pretty salty in 2-3 years.

Are those guys top end prospects?

Wandy is a good tradeable asset however I don't think teams will give us any of their best major-league ready prospects for him.
