I left the office at noon and went home to watch the game.

We just lost but I'm glad our last NL game was in Wrigley, some great games vs the cubs over the years.

Considering that a month and a half ago they were competing with the '62 Mets & '03 Tigers for the worse records in modern ball, I'm actually somewhat pleased (and surprised) how they finished the season. While another long season for the fans, at least the new ownership is trying to rebuild the the farm system so let us hope we will not have to endure too many more of these types of seasons.

I think the most painful thing about this season was all of the walk-off losses we endured. It was only fitting to end the season with one. On to the AL, but first, we have new uniforms being released next month...a much needed change.

Their contracts were not renewed. As long as the keep Bill Brown and JD in the TV booth, I'll be happy.
