Yup. The "Go" order was a week or so ago. This reminds me of our 1989 invasion of Panama "Operation Just Cause" to rid the world of pineapple face Noriega. Whether the mission to kill/capture Maduro has been successful tonight or not remains to be seen. Either way, his days are numbered.

Not a full scale attack. Preliminarily it seems like this was a large special operations raid and may now be over. No indication yet this was start of a large scale campaign.

Not a war. Barry Sotero bombed the crap out of Syria and Oman…someone else feel free to post the list of multiple countries Sotero shot up. Yep. In Obama's final year, 2016, the U.S. dropped at least 26,171 bombs in seven countries (Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan). That's an avg. of 72 bombs per day.

Unfortunately there's no one they could replace him with who'd be nearly as hapless or uncharismatic. Finally allowing a replacement to Chavez' loyal buffoon is a roll of the dice as far as USP alternates. It's like we took down their Gerald Ford.

Edit - I guess unless the USP leadership was paid off and an opposition figure was allowed to take the reigns.
