But does 'eyes on' include a member of his Cuban security team? Certainly possible I guess.

2. Crying that Trump will just deceive China so ask them. lol. Yes, China who broke the mold on deceit and literally has deceit as a core value of their strategic doctrine.
Goodness.

There is no confirmed evidence that the RQ-170 Sentinel drone was ever photographed or operated over the Philippines. The aircraft in question, captured in a photo taken by landscape photographer Michael Fugnit in Santa Magdalena, Sorsogon, on September 2, 2021, is widely believed by aviation experts to be the U.S. Air Force's RQ-180 stealth drone rather than the RQ-170. The RQ-180, developed by Northrop Grumman, is a high-altitude, long-endurance, very low-observable drone designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions in contested airspace. It is reportedly nicknamed the "Great White Bat" or "Shikaka".

I wish they would stop talking about fentanyl with Venezuela. Do they really think we are that stupid. This is about oil and geopolitical rifts with China and Russia. We are not going to invade a country to help out a bunch of drug addicts.
Do you not understand what kind of burden those drug addicts put on a society?
How about stop using them?
Well ideally, yes. But you leftists have proven time and time again that you can't/won't accept any personal responsibility whatsoever, so cutting off the supply is really the only wait to limit your destruction on the sane, functioning part of society.
Hope that helps
You think I'm a leftist because I'm saying people shouldn't use drugs? Yea that makes no sense at all. I'm saying if you choose poorly you are likely going to suffer the consequences. People make their own choices.

Okay. I have seen some speculation about how the Chinese may have inadvertently outed Maduro's location and movements. The first involved the photographed meeting he had Chinese envoy and identifying the room from the pictures. Fair enough.
The second is more intriguing to me. The Huawei phones the Chinese gave to him have trackers on them. So Beijing could follow his movements believing their encryption of that data was robust enough to protect him. But US military has broken that encryption.
According to this well know Chinese podcaster, XI has now ordered his highest military members to stop using their Huawei phones? Hmm.
Go to 8 minute 12 second mark.
Politico is reporting that the Trump Administration is strong-arming US oil companies to return to Venezuela, after their assets were nationalized 20 years ago. The infrastructure is so decayed and the political environment is so uncertain that they're unsurprisingly reluctant.

An initial proposal presented to the U.S. called for:
Maduro to step down but remain in Venezuela
U.S. criminal charges to be dropped
U.S. oil companies granted access
Delcy Rodrguez to assume controlThat proposal failed.
A second proposal suggested Rodrguez lead a transition government, with Maduro going into exile in Qatar or Turkey. The U.S. rejected this as well, citing concerns it amounted to "Madurismo without Maduro" - a regime-lite outcome.
Rodrguez is now Interim President of Venezuela. Reporting indicates Maduro was unaware these talks were taking place.

If true, it would kind of explain why Trump won't back Machado and actual regime change. Rodriguez was basically trying to remove her boss behind his back with the intent to present him with a fait accompli after getting US support, but we didn't want him in a position where he could return. Wondering if Rodriguez sanctioned us going in and grabbing him so she could take over while we sit back without insisting on real regime change in exchange for US oil companies being given access.
