With power come the responsibility to use it as the Lord would approve. In my humble opinion taking down an oppressive a narco state that has impoverished 85% of its population would meet that criteria as long as we play fairly and justly, creating real allies then leaving VZ to its people.

Chinese, Russian, Cuban, interference and collaboration impoverishing and destroying that nation is a violation of the Monroe Doctrine.

Besides the courts will side with Trump as they did with Bush 1 VS Panama. The case law is already there.

A TV screen w/ a twitter feed? It's not like it was a screen pushing JWICS. What are you even talking about? How many ops floors have you spent time on? And I've seen plenty of sanitized photo ops on actual ops floors before.

He's not the head of state so there's that.

He was already under indictment with both Trump and Biden and since he's not the legal head of state it was game on.

That was one of the first things you learn when you get a clearance. Don't suddenly do things completely differently, especially en masse.

This has been going on for a while. I'm actually surprised people are just now finding out about it.

I'd heard about it awhile back.

I figured they would have fixed that by now.

But, we have been pretty lax in enforcement through numerous administrations of both parties, so, I'm not surprised...

An update on my terrible plight.

Due to the festivities in VZ, we couldn't get a flight out of SXM until Friday 1/9.

But, we managed to find food and shelter (and a lot of rum punch).

So, we're now trapped in Sint Maarten for 6 days.
