Well I think the club made the right move in taking the captaincy away from Xhaka. I always liked him and completely understand his meltdown a couple weeks ago, but you just can't implode like that on the pitch as the Captain. I can't imagine he stays with the club much longer and moving on is probably best for both parties at this point. I think he should go to Italy or Germany where he'd be very successful because the game is much slower.

Lol. Emery has this team so lost and out of kilter.
I'm honestly kinda expecting a change during the international break that is coming up, especially if we get hammered by Leicester away this weekend. The team is completely lost. There is no confidence any more. The first pass is always backwards. The tactics and lineups are not only changed every single match, but are almost always wrong. It is starting to look like he has lost the squad as well to the point that the effort isn't even there.
That's 4 matches in a row that we've blown a lead. We've been absolutely dreadful since the last international break and in reality since last March and nothing seems to have changed or improved. What's even more annoying is that he just comes out and makes excuses rather than admit we are struggling right now

Seen those popup from several sources. Don't blame him at all. Emery has used him out of position and has decided this season that he doesn't deserve as much PT as last. He was a true #6 in Italy and should be playing the same for us. Has the mobility to cover the backline and is a good enough passer to help transition to the offense. No doubt Milan is circling the wagons given his former coach is there now and they are struggling in the standings.

Also seeing rumors start to popup about replacing Emery with Luis Enrique due to the Raul connections. Enrique was a bit controversial at Barca but he still had a 76% Win rate over 3 seasons. Granted he had some pretty talented players but he still managed 2 of 3 La Liga titles, CL trophy and 2-3 other lesser trophies.
