Wouldn't it be an interesting end to the season if the squad is just now starting to believe and adjust to what Arteta is doing? Winning makes training for a new manager so much better.

Seeing rumors that Arsenal have contacted the "entourage" and agent of Allan Saint-Maximin to gauge interest in a move this summer and yesterday ASM posted a pic on Instagram of a baby (I assume his?) in a full Arsenal uniform. From what I am reading, the only way a deal will go down is if the Saudi ownership takeover of Newcastle doesn't occur this window. If new ownership arrives with money to spend they likely won't be willing to part with him.
The other interesting part of this is that PEA is HUGE fan of ASM. ASM was in the St Ettiene academy when PEA played there and PEA recalls training with him on occasion.

Also, there is a ton of speculation that PEA may have already (or will soon) extend his contract at Arsenal. He did a Instagram Live this weekend and one of the fans posted "Blink if you're gonna sign" which prompted PEA to wink followed by a much more exaggerated wink with a huge grin. He's also been making a ton of pro Arsenal comments in media interviews including a good bit of talk about Saka signing a new deal.

No way Newcastle part from ASM for less than 30-40m. Dude has been their best player by a mile this season. Having him and Pepe would be some crazy dribbling wingers who aren't the best crossers, but are very direct. Would really need the wing backs to cross if that's the case.

What I heard is that after Brighton he met with Arteta & Edu in a private meeting. They asked him to publicly apologize for his antics during the game and he refused. I think this may be more Arteta deciding that there is no fixing his poor attitude rather than Duezy wanting out. Based on what I have heard, I am perfectly happy with him being used to fund the summer spending.
As others have said...when he plays I always think he's doing well because he's aggressive, but I'm not sure what ever actually comes of all his running around. I'd be fine w/ sending him along

If he's trained away from the team for 2 weeks and not for coronavirus reasons, its hard to see how the situation is repairable.

Seeing rumors that Leicester is interested in Duezy. Let's test their interest and see if we can get one of Ndidi, Pereira or Maddison. Not likely they bite but hey, never gonna get what you don't ask for.

I've read that we are talking with Real about another loan with a possible option to buy next summer.

He's finding ways to contribute to goals, but I agree he, on the whole, didn't look all that good last game. He was a non-factor much of the game, hardly knew he was playing the first 30 minutes or so.
I think he could have done so much better on that chance a few minutes ago. Put it right down the middle, easy save. And there's been another moment or two where he's been on the ball in a dangerous spot but not seemed quite sure what to do with it. He'll get there.
Good half. Should be up at least one more goal. Schmeichel has played well but a few shots could have been placed better.
