Looks like we are recalling Nketiah from his loan at Leeds and are going to send him somewhere else.

Given Leipzig's place in the table as well as Upamecano's contribution this season I would be mildly surprised if they let him go in Jan. Could see us doing a Salida type deal of buying him now and loaning him back until the end of the season. We could always find a loan deal (Rugani, etc...) to help out until EOS.
Also, supposedly Arsenal has agreed to loan Xhaka to Hertha for the remainder of the season with the intent to negotiate a permanent move at a later date. However, Arteta will not approve the deal until we have secured an adequate replacement.
Looks like Chambers might miss the rest of the season with whatever happened to his knee.

He has been combining very well with Ozil. Lots of the little 1-2 passes that we didn't do under Emery

Man the biggest thing for me is that we've held the same shape for nearly the whole match. Whether it is in transition or holding the ball, we've had a shape and it has helped the midfield tremendously.
Clean sheet and win. Unheard of.

Only blemish for me was the play of Nelson. Just was a step off and had a couple of poor giveaways. We fought to the finish line for this one though. Great performance.

I understand him putting Nelson in for Pepe at 2-0 though. Nelson will run and Pepe wasn't doing much of anything on the defensive side. And we needed defensive help from the wingers (like we got from Auba) to make sure we didn't concede at that point, like we typically do. Pepe was incredible on the offensive side though, and man we definitely need more goal scorers on the pitch.
Well done Arsenal! Built upon first half of Chelsea match without a hangover. Arteta has everyone buying in. Sign me up for more efforts like today.
Pepe also seemed to have a few really bad give away a before being subbed out.
The team that rolled out yesterday is one that I haven't seen before. The names on the jerseys seemed to be the same, but the way they played made me think we found new guys. I don't know what Arteta has done in the locker room, but some sort of change is evident. This team's attitude/play the last 3 months coupled with mounting injuries and the big let down with late loss to chelski could have easily meant United coming in and whipping our arse. Instead, we came out even better than first half of chelski and then showed cohesiveness to hold shape all game long.
