Bellerin just doesn't seem to have it anymore. Lost some pace, gets beat and can't play an accurate pass to save his life right now.

Seems to me we have the athleticism and burst up front to do some good counter attacking.
Would be lovely to have some midfielders who can quickly link play. I remember when a healthy, dedicated, energetic guy named Mesut Ozil played that role at Real Madrid and they won stuff--be great to see someone like that at Arsenal.

Rumors coming out the Guendouzi wants to leave now. Kid is no doubt a talent, but does seem to have some behavioral issues. Wouldn't be opposed to moving him on for the right price, but I still think he can develop into something special.
Saw that this morning. Bit torn. On one hand he is young (HG), shows some potential and has heart. On the other he is too emotional, can't seem to control it and has not been able to replicate his form from season 1.wangus12 said:

I think I would be willing to sell but it would take something like 40+m cash.
It'd probably be better for Guendouzi's career for him to stay and address his problems; rather than seem to be running away from taking responsibility. But I'm biased.

Definitely seems like he is running. If that's his attitude, it actually makes me more inclined to let him go. Supposedly he (his agent) have already reached out to PSG, Inter, Barca & Atletico. PSG expressed interest in last summer and Inter's manager is familiar playing against him in the EPL. Heard rumor a few weeks ago that PSG may move Abdou Diallo this summer. I wouldn't be upset about some sort of swap deal there as long as we had other plans to add to the MF.
My big thing with Guendouzi currently is I can't figure out what he really offers. He isn't great defensively and tends to be out of position often. In what has to be close 80+ appearances he has like 1 goal and 1 assist.
The one thing I really like about him is that when he picks up the ball, he drives forward with it before looking for a pass.

Just finished watching. Some thoughts/notes...
- I pray that some of our younger CB can put Luiz on the bench next season. He may be a solid vet presence but his play is awful.
- Kola should be sold if we can find a reasonably priced LB to compete with Tierney. He shows some flashes but his defended around the box is absurdly bad.
- I was pleasantly surprised with Willock. He was slow to make a few decisions but all around I thought he had a solid game playing as an 8.
- Saka was quiet but I think part of the problem were missed opportunities. Twice Eddie had the ball with an opportunity to hit Saka in stride but he chose a different option. One of those ended up leading to the Dani goal but I think the better play would have been Eddie passing to the left for Saka and then Saka passing across the box to Pepe for a sitter.
- despite his flaws or current MF runs better when Xhaka is in it. If we can find a partner for him that can both defend and pass well we could have a strong MF base next season.

Ornstien saying that we are gonna lose Folarin Balogun out of the academy. Kid is a pretty big talent with an absurd scoring record at the youth level. He most likely isn't going to sign a new contract and you can't blame him with Auba, Laca, Nketiah and Martinelli all ahead of him. He is only 18 but is looking for first team involvement.
I've watched him play here in Dallas at the Dallas Cup and he is a pretty good looking player. Also has American citizenship.
