Poor play is all on Emery. Thats why I want a manager change now. Think most decent managers could get a good deal more out of us right now. I greatly prefer an experienced manager but I would gladly take a flier in Arteta right now if we could get him in during the international break.

Laca - maybe same as PEA
Ozil - Likely going no where. Honestly would be opposed to seeing if a new manager can get him motivated again.
Xhaka - He's gone. Read that Gazidas wants him in Milan and that Xhaka is already house shopping. The latest rumored deal is Xhaka for Kessie plus cash.
Torreira - Was said to be unsettled this past summer. No doubt that lack of playing time has made that worse. With Xhaka leaving I would think his playing time increases. With Gazidas already firing his former manager, I'd bet that we atleast have Lucas until the summer. If things don't improve I'd bet he is out.
Duezy - Don't forget that he joined Arsenal because of Emery. He may want to leave if Emery is sacked and PEA & Auba want out. Only silver lining is that he has raised his value considerably and should fetch a big fee.
Leno - Just read a rumor that Bayern has pegged him as their top choice successor to Neuer. If true they will make their run at him this summer. Leno has been solid but tends to make mistakes that lead to goals. I would be hugely broken up if we sold him.

At the moment I don't see/hear anything about anyone else. For now I'd guess everyone else sticks it out through the manager change. That said, if I'm Raul/Edu I'm looking at a few more moves this summer, namely Sokratis, Mustafi and maybe Kola & Mavropanos.

I think Arsenal are performing right where there talent would dictate. Arsenal may have good individual parts, but they aren't that great and paired together actually make other players worse.

Players from LC i would take over Arsenals starting 11: Cink, Nididi, Chillwell, Maddison, Vardy, Tielmans. Leno v Schmeichel is a push. My biggest issue is that Arsenal looked like a team picked by a tween playing FIFA. We couldn't press from the front, we defended with a back line of 5 and 2 midfielders, when we attacked no one wanted to play wide and if they ended up wide no one could win a 1v1 to put in a cross or put pressure on the back line.

Auba and Laca do not play well together.
Ozil needs wingers and movement around him. This formation was insanely static with only Auba making occasional runs on the wing.
Torriea, not popular but the guy is kind of eh. Nididi, Fabhino, Fernadinho, Rodri, Henderson, Kante, are all considerably better.
Duzy: developing player that has green moments. I think he would be better in a 4-3-3 that gave him more support from a left & right midfielder.
Back 5: It is bad to play a back 5 when instead of having 3 solid CBs you want to help stop the attack you play 3 eh CBs in hopes the extra one will cover up the screwups of the others. Did not work.

This is not a selection issue so much as a team balance issue. Pepe could be great but when is he, Laca, Auba and Ozil ever going to be on the field at the same time?

On the aggregate, you tell me Arsenal finishes 6th and I'm disappointed but not shocked.

You tell me 6th includes Tottenham bombing down in 14th, yet also only 3 points behind us at 14th, and I'm really disappointed.

I said before this that I didn't think, at the rate we were going, Emery was not getting let go. But the wheels are coming off.

It is dramatics if someone believes Arsenal's talent dictates going 0-2-2 against Sheffield, Crystal Palace, Wolves, and Leicester, plus another draw mixed in against Vitoria.

Rumors that Napoli wants to make a run at Torreira in Jan to replace Allan (demanding to leave after some fans broke into his house). Honestly I would do a Torreira for Allan swap right now. Allan is older but he would be a great MF General regardless of who our manager is/will be. Think he is the perfect age to mentor Duezy/Willock while not blocking their development.

Also just a reminder that Southampton lost 9-nil earlier this year and we are playing 5 defensive players against them at home

1. Buy a top LB, so we can play 4 atb
- once he is fit switch to a 5, play him as a wingback, after refusing to use the formation for a LWB
2. Buy a winger to get width and supply to top strikers
- don't use him and play split forwards
3. Buy a top prospect DM
- use him as a marauding 10
4. Luck out on a generational number 8
- leave him isolated deep in position he has never played at 20 with no senior player to help him
