Love his effort to get to the ball and it looked like the defender turned into the "tackle" but given the circumstances, that was most certainly a red. Had the defender not turned his body so much to brace for impact Eddie likely misses his leg.
now we just have to hold and and hope we can get lucky on a counter

The way we played the 1st half we really should have added a 2nd. That could have made the 2nd half look entirely different.

Well pish on that. Once again, gave points up, and now have 14 draws on the season, lol. The whole second half was practically the Leicester show, which was frustrating to watch. They made a good adjustment at half, Arsenal not so much.
Laca had 2 exceptional chances in the 1st. If either is placed a bit better we go into HT 2-0. That completely changes the complexion of the game.
Story of the last decade is not being clinical enough. Should've been upby at least 2. Once Eddie was gone, you knew they were gonna score. Would be really nice if some teams above us would drop points.
Hope we can smash the spuds in the toilet bowl, but they'll probably come out and play like the prime Galacticos with Mourinho in charge, especially since they've looked terrible recently.

Our next 2 are gonna be tough. Spurs have had a slow start so hopefully we can continue our level of play from Wolves and 1st half of this game and grab a couple goals early. For Liverpool, I'm just hoping to grab a point. Last 2 games should be wins as long as we play reasonably well. So best case scenario would have us add 10 pts to finish the season. If everyone above us lost out, that would put us in 4th. More likely then not, 10 pts leaves us in 6th or 7th to finish the season. With the MC ban that atleast gets us EL.
I think Liverpool have started to take their foot off the pedal. They've got the title and don't want to lose players to injury before the CL starts in August. They got destroyed by City and looked poor against Villa.

I don't think he did either, it was a good goal, but I was just confused at the idea they didn't look at that
Musrafi could have and should have done better on that
Also this is our 4th red card in Arteta's tenure, which is an insane rate.

I 100% think Vardy should have been ejected. If you watch in replay you can see intent. Hopefully the league reviews and suspends him a couple games.
I've never seen anyone who's leg spun around like that in a basic fall. He wasn't spinning that hard as he fell. Natural momentum would have taken him straight down to the turf.

I think with VAR anything can play you onside. A foot. A beard....an imaginary friend.
Vardy should definitely see a suspension for that kick to Mustafi. But knowing the league, done and dusted.
Interesting bit of news. 21yo Nice CB Malang Sarr has let his contract run down and is now free to join whatever team he chooses and I've seen reports that Arsenal have made an official offer. He is a little on the short side (6') but is young, athletic and left footed. Could play on the left in a 3 man back line or make a good partner for Saliba if/when we move back to a traditional 4 man line. At 21 he has over 100 caps in Ligue 1.
Now that Sheffield United won, that red card cost my buddy $900 on a $36 5 team parlay.
