Would be amazing.
Only potential issue I can see is that I think she starts filming the new Marilyn Monroe movie this August. So filming on TD would have to come after that, either late in the year or early next year. Which would mean we won't be seeing season two for a LONG time. Maybe fall 2015, but more likely early 2016.

^ That'll most likely be when season two debuts, no matter who's starring. Besides, I feel like we'd know more by now if they were filming in the fall. We'd most likely already know the director, at the very least.

Casting for season two is officially underway, as the pilot script went out to agents TODAY. Word is it consists of one primary male lead, and then a male and female secondary lead. So basically three leads, but one is slightly more prominent than the other two.
If the pilot hit the agencies today, I'm betting it leaks relatively soon. Some assistant will no doubt give it to someone he/she isn't supposed to. Probably won't be a wide leak, but more of an "industry" leak, and if it does, I'll definitely be able to get my hands on it. What I love about pilots is I have no problem reading them to spoil anything, as it only spoils a small part of the overall story. Will be checking daily, and will report back if anything comes up...

Looks like The Wrap story has been updated to say Garrett Hedlund is also being considered for the role Kitsch is after, but Kitsch has the edge, apparently.
