Have they told WH about the new murder. I can't recall them saying anything to him about it, they have only been quizzing him on the original case and MM.
Right?
If this is the case how does this affect everybody's ideas of what is to come? Maybe they think WH has something to do with new murder. Maybe new victim is his ex?
Thoughts?
Good point. I don't recall the new detectives ever mentioning the new (2012) victim to WH. However, both WH and the detectives have made it clear that they are conducting the interrogation to better understand MM's approach to how he worked the '95 case. That could just be their front into getting the info they need out of WH, but I haven't really gotten that vibe just yet. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if that's what it turns out to be, but I just think that's a little too predictable for a show that has shown so much depth.
Surely WH will be informed of the new vic at some point, but it is interesting that they "cut to the chase" with MM yet are stringing WH along with their interrogation.
Along these same lines, it's become clear that both MM & WH are "bad men". Two quotes by McConaughey come to mind "The world needs bad men to keep other bad men from the door" & the final line of last nights episode, where MM explains many people come to the last moments of their dream (life) and "there is a monster at the end of it". You could interpret that as MM & WH are monsters in their own right.
