I already said this was all arson. There was no lightening strikes. And u til I hear otherwise, no arcing of powerlines.

Its is plausible of a homeless camp starting a fire, but 3 lit off in close time, yet far apart that it wasn't embers.

I saw a video on Instagram of some younger looking people getting out of a car in traffic jam and dumping gasoline on a highway….Makes me wonder how many arsonists or anarchists came out to cause even more chaos after the fire started……

Fire lines don't matter with 60 mph winds. Especially down slope winds, which heat up and further dry out the brush. The only difference makers are air drops and many water hoses. With the Santa ana winds, you just have to pray that fire doesn't start uphill on your east flank. And if it does, get the hell out.

To be honest I think they had extra gas in their car for their escape drive and as the fire approaches and in a standstill traffic they freaked out thinking it would blow up

But f the arsonist they arrested.
