Yep. It's the liberal way of saying, "Hey, we did something!" and then passing the blame for failure to do something on to someone else for not making their recommended changes in the right way. Oh, and they get to decide what the problem was and the solutions are beforehand because they decide what's allowed to be presented. It's the perfect tactic for accountability avoidance.

It was before the mid term and I wasn't sure what his tests would be like. He offered two options for extra credit…one was to review that book and the other was to compare and contrast environmental planks in the R and D party platforms leading up to the 92 elections. It ended up being an easy A, but I wasn't sure that to expect at the time.

I really enjoyed the class though and his teaching style. He ended up as my wife's thesis advisor and much of the Water Program degree programs came about based on the class curriculum they designed for her. We still keep in touch with him from time to time and had dinner with he and his wife a few years ago in CS.
