Anyone know anything about this show? I just saw the trailer last night and I must say, I'm extremely intrigued. I'm a pretty big fan of any movie or show about serial killers and I think Woody and McConaughey would make a pretty interesting lead duo of characters. Also it looked like it will incorporate some type of voodoo aspects which could be pretty interesting.

Strong to quite strong. I don't watch many of these types of shows but I feels like a better version of The Killing.

I like how it's set for 8 episodes only with this cast - it's more like a mini-series. Future seasons will have a new cast/new story.

This show definitely has potential. I too have a mancrush on McConaughey and like how pretty much every character he plays has those weird esoteric, philosophical undertones, but this time he's really freaking dark & misanthropic. Woody seems like he'll be a good counter as the "straight" cop.

I'm definitely going to watch this one; even if the story doesn't end up being impressive (which I bet it will), the acting should carry it.

Fantastic. Definitely psyched for the rest of the season.

I think it's safe to say that McConaughey has completed one of the biggest career renaissance's in hollywood history.

Just caught the first episode. I'll say this, I am not the type to get engrossed in any series. I like game of thrones, boardwalk, etc etc but if I miss an episode or season I don't really care. Now this show, I'm instantly hooked. To see matts transformation from romantic comedy actor to an actual artist and character actor is nothing short of amazing. It takes a miracle to get me hooked on a series and I'm already pissed there is only 8 total episodes. All I want to do is binge watch this show and I'm pissed I have to wait till Sunday for the next episode.

Pretty good pilot. I enjoyed it except for the lack of authentic accents. My dad was raised in Erath and I've been there many times, as well as a few other cities that were mentioned. Only one person in the first episode sounded like he was from that area. I did like that Woody's character correctly said he played ball at USL since it wouldn't have been known as UL-Lafayette yet at that point. Looking forward to the second episode.
