Easier shorter trips to defend the Gulf states that are bearing the brunt of the Iranian attacks lately.

In 2 week is the biggest Iranian holiday. I think it'll be bad if bombing continues until then

Quick! Let's jump to conclusions!
It's becoming quite clear that if we want regime change in Iran, we are going to have to do it ourselves.
If we bomb them, stop bombing, and the people let it go back to the way it was (it's looking this will be the case), then we will have spent 2 years bombing the hell out of Iran for nothing. Iran will ramp up missile production to levels we have not yet seen, and build nukes with zero apprehension.
We are committed now. The IGRC has called our bluff and the people haven't risen up. We have to go in

You're not flying over Iraq and Syria where there may be threat detection assets. This allows you more freedom of movement and better attack vectors. The Israelis also have enough assets to cover those approaches. This means shorter flights, quicker and more sorties against the Iranian costal, naval, and offshore instillations and equipment with a greater ability to assist escorted vessels in the straight. Just off the top of my head.

Early on, we told the people of Iran to stay indoors until such time as the IRGC and police forces are degraded.
Would be a horrible idea for the people to "rise up" at this stage of the mission.

I have not heard a single actual Iranian discuss anything you are talking about
and I have been watching hundreds of them speak in the past few weeks
Quote:
Russia is providing Iran with targeting information to attack American forces in the Middle East, the first indication that another major U.S. adversary is participating even indirectly in the war, according to three officials familiar with the intelligence.
The assistance, which has not been previously reported, signals that the rapidly expanding conflict now features one of America's chief nuclear-armed competitors with exquisite intelligence capabilities.
Since the war began Saturday, Russia has passed Iran the locations of U.S. military assets, including warships and aircraft, said the three officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter's sensitivity.

Nowruz is March 20. It's almost 2 week holiday. The symbolism would be excellent to celebrate a new government with new year celebration. But if Iranians can't have a proper nowruz celebration because the bombing continues and when they come out and they see major cultural sites and their cities turned to Gaza, they will be pissed.
Ferdowsi square is already destroyed. There were strikes close to Azadi square. We need to try to preserve stuff like that and Niavaran
What about Israel? Qaderi sends a clear message: The Kurds seek a "strong friendship" with Israel, highlighting the deep similarities between the two peoples. #Israel #Kurdistan

I mean if we were living under one of the most oppresive and radical regimes in the world, and someone attacked said regime and blew up places like Washington Square Park, the Lincoln Memorial, or whatever you make the comparison to the squares you mentioned, but they destroyed the regime and gave me my freedom back, I don't think I'd mind too much.

well that may be semantics
seeing as how Ambassador Huckabee has been posting videos of him literally walking to the bomb shelters every few minutes

they will be moving into the Arabian Sea/Indian Ocean soon
likely to replace the Abraham Lincoln who will head back to Japan
let's see if the Houthis decide to take a few drive by shots as Ford transits the Red Sea
